  1. Less of this negativity Chris, what will little Len say whan he is born :drink:
  2. I have always found Edinburgh fans a great bunch of people, I am a little envious of the team they have assembled however. Although I don't believe them to be smug, they have good grounds to be smug.
  3. The difference between a skirt and a kilt, IS UNDERWEAR
  4. Anyone arriving early today. BERWICK MOTORCYCLE RALLY on at the quayside today 11.00 till 3.30
  5. Come on my old friend, we always get humped at the dump, not since the Kevin Little days did we do anything up there. What I don't understand is why any of our various managers have never got hold of a load of DVDs and sat the team down and watched how Edinburgh riders ride their own track. Then gone to the Dump and rode the same as they do, the idea is to learn from your own mistakes, not go back time and time again, making the same mistakes. At the end of the day, it's just another track with a different set up. If it is a trick track, then learn to do the trick.
  6. No, it's rubbishe ( I have been edited I said Sh*te), nothing with an engine, cannot be classed as sport just a big P.E. party
  7. Don't worry, Heppy will eventually get some grip into the track, at the moment I am sure the right thing to do was scrape all that loose stuff off the track, by any stretch of the imagination it could not have been be described as grip. Remember, with loads of shale on it you could not even use the outside line, after 2 to 4 heats the bit of shale that was on the inside was now against the fence, with just the centre of the track left to race on, 'ONE LINE RACING' or as described 'GATE & GO'.
  8. NO!, they have just got the loose stuff off the track, need it slick. When it was knee deep around the fence, it was still gate & go, as you dare not stick your wheels into in fear of ending up flat on your proverbial arse,
  9. First line is surely a header. on your subject in brackets. It has been said I might get that problem one day No, only the one I bought him, the man has Scottish pockets
  10. And it is my pleasure to accomodate Dick Barries page, 1st paragraph, it must be true, Dick said
  11. Don't understand, 'poor show if true', we have known for a few weeks that due to these meetings being rearranged, Matej Kus had a previously agreed commitment in the CZ, as a result would not be available for that date, same problem for Josef Franc at Plymouth
  12. Got that wrong mate, it's YOU that is worth the entry fee :drink:
  13. If that is the case, then the appeal of being on TV is an attraction, not the appeal of speedway, as the crowds are vastly different.
  14. For what benefit, I am 300 mtres from the club house, I can see what the weather is like through my shop door.
  15. Forecasts are a bit conflicting. BBC has thunderstorms into the North Sea the rest over Cumbria. Met Office heavy rain about 14.00 till 1600 then clearing The other site recommended on this thread, no rain at all. At present we have light rain
  16. Don't think he was looking for inaccuracies. My interpretation, was, Berwick push out the boat for Sky or the FIM, he would like the same for every meeting, this has not always been the case in the past few years.
  17. The latest Met office based my postcode (300mtrs from stadium) now clearing up at 15.00 butgiving a a bad spell between 18.00 and 19.00
