  1. Drew Kemp on a warning... That might impact his chances...
  2. Seemed to not put his hands out to break the fall... Just landed head first.. Maybe knocked out for a few moments..?
  3. I dont know... At least I couldn't hear the bagpipes...
  4. And having a few bad crashes himself don't seem to have taken away any urge to aim a bike at anyone who takes his fancy..
  5. Considering the score line Leszno have been in better scoring positions in a lot of races.... Lublin have scored a fair few heat wins from losing positions... Will take a very good team to beat them... Maybe Wroclaw if their top four are 100% bang on form?
  6. Pretty sure he became their official track inspector too when the position was created.... RIP...
  7. What a strange line from Doyle... Leszno wont be troubling the lucky loser position by the looks of things..
  8. But "in the interests of Speedway", you never know...
  9. To be fair to them.. They will need to be factoring in Bomber's availability... As soon as he informs them of his schedule they will release dates... Three teams to represent... And as an added bonus he will be able to jump across the podium to get three medals as they get presented...
  10. So that's all that Sheffield can offer you as "fun" arnie? When it gets darker you will get joined by a few locals having a disco, dancing under the traffic lights as they change colour...
  11. It might be difficult to fit this meeting in again with the same riders missing... There may be a few worried that they wont have any fixture clashes..
  12. Yes... Go to the station and get a train to Manchester..
  13. Poole seem to be doing very well crowd wise since they dropped down a level...
  14. Certain teams do have "NDL" written all over them... A level that they can be "successful" at rather than always being an annual "also ran", and unable to really compete in the level above.. Many Championship teams are the same, big fish in a small pond, but unable to compete with the level above.. No idea why promoters take the risks they do moving up, especially considering none of the leagues bring any real media coverage or great financial rewards.. Ego maybe? Rubbing shoulders with "better riders"? Seems daft to risk your club to try and win something that will probably cost you more to win yet not get any guarantee that the increased costs will be covered through an increased attendance.. As many have said, two leagues, one professional and one very much semi professional/new starters has to be a consideration.. A "Premiership Lite" and an "NDL Plus"... With each club going into whichever league based on their organic growth position in the sport..
  15. I am not saying it is relevant. .. Far from it.... It just has as much relevance as pretty much every meeting in the UK... Not pointless though, as it no doubt helps Birmingham run 'x' number of meetings which may be part of their contract and also gives 14 riders another meeting... Which is essentially why UK Speedway is ran. ..
  16. Do I get to have a tartan blanket across my knee (with tassels)...? If so... Count me in.... Not sure I want wrapping in cellophane though. ..
  17. I would say it has as much relevance as many, many other meetings that get ran.. Cherry picking riders is "par for the Speedway course" it seems, virtually every evening, so why not take the opportunity to try and entice some fans of a defunct local team to your track..? Even if just 100 turn up it will be more than the vast majority of away teams will ever bring...
