Running in October usually means crap weather... Crap weather usually means crap tracks... Crap tracks means crap racing bordering on the wrong side of acceptable from the danger side of the sport.. Who knew?

Rew not being at reserve after the semi has had a big impact... The Ipswich reserves are miles away from being good enough to ride in the top league unfortunately.. With Rew at reserve the two lads struggling tonight would only need to have tsken 3 rides each and he could have taken six.. As it stands the reserves will need to take 8 races which means not much hope of a Witches heat advantage in those races..

Gate 3 for Emil and Doyle... They will be hoping for more from their other races... Ipswich reserves are not good though and have lots of races up to heat 10 so heat advantages for Ipswich will be hard to get with their last places...

The TV deal will now be divided by 6 rather than 7 so a few more quid for each club.. I don't think a 14 team "big league", as has been suggested would be something the current remaining five teams would want given the revenue differential...
