Less riders per team, and a fit for purpose RR facility would be a start.. And some actual deterrent for missing meetings over here would also help...

Guesting is part of the operating model because 1) it is easy to do, which means you don't need to find a way to not use them through changing your team structures, and, 2) the riders like the chance to earn extra money, doubling up and guesting is vital for those who don't ride in Poland... Hence, they will stay and major sponsors, and many thousands of fans, will stay away...

Makes you wonder how other leagues around Europe cope with not using guests...😀 Another good win for Emil, that's two wins and a second so far . He's back!! (Just not back over here)..😁

Maybe they should have chosen the four teams in April... That would have given them even more time to market the meetings... Imagine the crowd size with six months worth of promotion?!

An absolutely 100% mindset to have... However.. You really shouldn't need to have that mindset, as it is almost ludicrous that it is required to follow a "professional' team sport ... And therefore, a "huge ask" to get new people to buy into that "unusual" mindset and become regulars... And also to compound this, even keep "die hards" turning up, as, eventually, even they have a tipping point and then either stop going completely, or start to attend "now and again".. A true "basket case" of an operating model..

I did consider including them... But upon reflection, I felt it might have devalued the competition a tiny tad...

With so many guests, it will be like a seven team tournament...... Could be a "commercial success" having so many teams involved, bringing their fans over... Genius BSP, Genius...

It's always made up bollox so the end of the season (every end of season it appears), having some more made up bollox has a certain wonderful synergy... Hope Ipswich get through with 5 cherry picked guests, 5 in one match, and 5 different ones in the other. (If ten riders are still available), and that Emil rides in Poland this weekend but doesn't ride over here at all... The smell of boilt pee on here would be hilarious..... And then watch him get a 28 day ban that he serves in December.

It's all Mickey Mouse made up stuff from the 3rd week or so into the season then onwards... People mainly attend because they like watching Speedway, with the result being something that will happen after 15 heats, rather than something most there will passionately be arsed about... The die hards seem to be ok with what they get each week, and the play offs will bring out those who "follow" the clubs from afar for most of the season.. If you are a promoter you really don't need a fans rep to know what you need to do to sort the sport out as social media via many channels and networks have the same "feedback" ad infinitum.. The truth is, what we have is all there is (in the UK), therefore, whilst it lasts, everyone needs to collude with the promoters and pretend it is real...
