  1. It says in the Speedway Star this morning in an article where Wolves are confirming they are running in the 6 team league that these fixtures will be filled by adding 'extra competitions' at Premiership level. Not ideal though i'd say, just racing the same teams even more!
  2. Don't know if that's a wind up, but I thought it was obvious the 18 was because it happened in 2018! That would be ironic as Workington currently have a Tory MP
  3. It's on the Sky platform though, and is currently free for 12 months for Sky Q users. It's just under the Apps menu instead of the TV guide menu. As with any streaming service, like Amazon does with the live Tennis or PL football you'l be able to choose to 'Watch from the start' even if the event started an hour ago or is finished, which will enable you to fast forward to the heats etc. No longer will there be any hassle with having to remember to record it or put it on series link. As in the past the Series link and overrunning Recordings have been hit and miss with BT and Eurosport British Eurosport TV and/or Quest (on freeview) will probably only show the Cardiff GP live, as was mentioned with the local events getting free to air coverage.
  4. Glasgow put this on Facebook. There has to be more than 4k in attendence for the passports
  5. Tickets on sale in under 10 mins - https://www.ticketarena.co.uk/events/international-test-match-gb-vs-poland?fbclid=IwAR2Yw8ZULFQEqI3SpGPV5QkIknEOW7R744C5kYZNdQt0pKqrSOof95aTmjw 6 Man teams so should be 12 heats, plus 3 heats nominated to make 15. Tickets £25
  6. I would hope it's more like a 12/1pm start. People will be in Cardiff already, would be daft to have it any later in the day otherwise most people will just go on the saturday.
  7. Would be nice to see Dan Bewley as a WC for one of the Wroclaw rounds!
  8. You need to upload them to an image hosting site like imgur.com Then to post on here just drag and drop the uploaded image from the hosting site to the reply box on here
  9. Anyone happen to know when they'll release tickets for the Sheffield meeting 2 weeks today? Thought'd they be available by now.. Will keep checking the Box Office site - http://www.wolverhampton-speedway.com/boxoffice
  10. Was confirmed yesterday by Eurosport
  11. Mark Jenkinson's post from Friday incase anyone missed it...
  12. Sounds promising, interesting comments by Steve Lawson to that tweet
  13. The upcoming fixtures on the SpeedwayGB website have been updated I noticed.. All fixtures prior to 17th May have been removed.. But are still on the Fixtures/Results page though.
  14. Correct, and I think people posting about him probably think this too, he is miles away from being ready. I believe he has only rode 1 senior meeting on a 500c bike! It's not beyond the realms of possibility of him actually signing though based on Plymouth's signings so far and his links with Gerry Sims etc.
  15. Yeah well of course, that's obvious! I mean his qualification as a EU national would be significantly easier in him gaining a T2 sportsperson visa
  16. I'd imagine he will have Dual Nationality perhaps? He's Swedish born which will qualify him for a passport. Although I've no idea if that automatically qualifies him to race in a post-Brexit Britain?
  17. Plymouth's race night looks like it's going to be on a Friday, according to their updated website page - https://plymouth-speedway.com/contact
  18. If Plymouth are to enter the Championship in 2021 their options for riders seem fairly limited apart from some of ex Rebels of 2020. Schlein? BWD? Anders Rowe? etc. Would of thought Ben Barker would be a candidate but was quickly snapped up by Newcastle. Adam Ellis and Rasmus Jensen are others I can think of but most of these options won't be cheap and 8+ averages. Seems to be a lack of 4,5,6 and 7 point riders available.
  19. http://www.speedwaygb.co.uk/files/downloads/c19_issue_34.pdf British riders listed get 2.5% deducted from those figures
  20. Probably not too much, looking at it they should both be able to track their existing teams. Eastbourne definately, depends if Connor Bailey is classed as British for Glasgow.
  21. Lewis Bridger then? Average will be under 6.5
