  1. This game is now up on Steam, http://store.steampowered.com/app/348820/?snr=1_7_7_comingsoon_150_1 And it says available in approximately 10 hours, online multiplayer might be interesting. Also they now have an official website for the game http://sgp15.com
  2. Very pleased with the signing of Vissing, we have 11.87 left now, Dan mentioned that the next should be known by mid-december after the Aus Championships, I reckon it will be 2 aussies depending on those State Championship results, Campton (5.00) and Ty Proctor (6.68)
  3. We may agree to disagree, but I don't see how people are tipping Liam Carr to be the best Number 7 in the PL. He may well be in the top 5, but Matt Williamson had time to settle in at Workington last year and he's back again, averages a point more than Carr in the NL, and already has a double figure score in the PL. Can only see him really improve next year, just like the other ex-motocross riders that have transferred to speedway in the past. But hey... i'm sure both sets of fans will be biased
  4. At least the Bandits are back next season, the PL wouldn't be same without them. But unfortunately the team announced wouldn't fill me with confidence, no real punch at the top end.
  5. Assuming Campton is signing, I can't see us signing Rosen, Sarjeant, Palovaara or any other 5 point average rider. It would leave us with 9.5 or more points to play with for the last rider, there isn't many of those riders around and available to travel up to Workington, i.e King, Kennett. It is more likely to be two 6 or 7 point riders to complete the 7. I'm pretty certain Ricky Wells will be Number 1 again.
  6. For the final septet how about this; 1 Ricky Wells 8.86 2 Mason Campton 4.66 3 Kenneth Hansen 6.84 4 Richie Worrall 6.84 5 Nick Morris 7.91 6 Adam Roynon 4.39 7 Matt Williamson 3.00 Averages total to Exactly 42.50
  7. Won't be back, and wouldn't want him back no consistency and usually fails to produce away from home
  8. From the averages, I picked out this team, I reckon 4 of last seasons team will be back next year. 1 Ricky Wells 8.86 2 Matty Wethers 4.96 3 Kenneth Hansen 6.84 4 David Bellego 5.98 5 Nick Morris 7.91 / Thomas Jorgensen 7.80 6 Robin Aspegren 4.82 / Mason Campton(Visa?) 4.66 7 Matt Williamson 3.00
  9. Of course, money talks! But I don't think we'll ever see Lawson guesting for the Comets again, probably a mutual feeling both ways.
  10. Strange to see Lawson back riding for the Bears after Havelock criticized him after he decided not to return! I hope Matty Wethers goes well, we need Redcar to win by 7+ if the Comets are to have any chance at all of finishing 6th.
  11. Probably going to be a rain off this, looking bleak at the moment.
  12. Absolutely terrible, never make the play offs this team, Matthew Wethers why is he in the team? Can't even cut it at reserve, was abysmal when I was at Glasgow on Sunday
  13. The rearranged lineup only take effect from Saturday, so on Friday at Somerset Hansen will still be at No1, no Rusty, and reserves are Williamson and Dan Greenwood. Basically got no chance tomorrow! Hansen will only be at reserve for 3 matches, so a lot will depend on how Matty Wethers does at reserve, I think he'll do pretty well seems to be getting back up to speed over the last few matches.
  14. Should be a good meeting against the Witches on Saturday, with a new line up announced tonight for the Comets it certainly looks stronger than we have so far this season. Rusty Harrison makes a welcome return and Kenneth Hansen drops to reserve! Expected line ups in riding order Comets 1. Kyle Howarth 2. Rusty Harrison 3. Rene Bach 4. Matty Wethers 5. Ricky Wells 6. Nicki Barrett 7. Kenneth Hansen Witches 1. Danny King 2. Gino Manzares 3. Nico Covatti 4. R/R 5. Rohan Tungate 6. Stefan Nielsen Guest tbc 7. Ritchie Hawkins Thoughts?
  15. The pairs are based on July's averages, they'll be released about a week before the 1st July, so it will be a choice between Wells, Howarth and Bach
  16. I really hope Howarth gets a chance, but it's a very tough situation for Rosco, he can't really win whatever the decision. King rode well on Monday, but I think we all know he probably won't score half of what he did on Monday.
  17. Kenneth Hansen scored paid 11 from 4 rides tonight in Sweden! Injured for tomorrow though... We are becoming laughable indeed, it's a shame when we've got 3 top riders in Howarth, Wells and Bach who are going really well. Just got nothing else.
  18. Think this might be an early morning call off, always seems to be when we ride a southern club. The rain hasn't stopped yet today, not looking good unfortunately.
  19. Jacko has said on the BSPA site that we will be using Rider Replacement in the immediate future. This won't actually be too bad as in May's GS averages, Rusty is 3rd in the averages which means his 4 rides will be taken by Rene Bach, Kyle Howarth, Ricky Wells and 1 of either Barrett/Greaves. This won't work out too bad and gives the promotion plenty of time to look for a replacement
  20. No, British riders like Barker, Cook, King, Lawson are good for the PL and speedway would maybe not be financially viable for them otherwise. Just look at Lewis Bridger, if his average fit for the PL he would still be riding speedway in my opinion if he could ride in both leagues.
  21. Kyle Howarth is a Comets Asset, luckily for us Wells will only miss 2 meetings for the season, when he is riding for Wolves. Going to effect the Thurs/Fri night tracks the most throughout the season so not ideal for the PL.
  22. So we have had to drop Mason Campton and Matty Wethers, as explained on the Comets website http://www.workingtoncomets.co/news/article.asp?id=100438 Really tough on Mason who was actually injured and broke his collar bone in the B Final of the NSW State Championship when colliding with Tyson Nelson who won the B Final and finished 4th on 11pts, had Mason came second in that B final he would have finished 4th overall on 12pts, thus have been able to ride in the UK this season!
  23. Is this the same Palm-Toft who would score 5 from 5 guesting as a PL reserve last season, or the same Wethers who put nearly that figure on his average in 2013 and averaged 6.79? He knows the PL inside out, is going to be fully fit come march and is still only 29, hardly a bad move by us.
  24. Ha, now I know your probably trying to get at Jenga here, but please come on I mean when your team replaces Holder with Lanham I would say that's when the 'wheels fall off'
  25. I was just presuming in the Comets thread, but the announcement could be anything, so lets wait and see...
