Berwick are a shambles season after season so it’s to be expected. When you consider the money that’s been put into making Glasgow successful it’s got to be pretty frustrating some of the riders they sign.

Personally I think its mainly down to rider skill or lack of. The best meeting I ever seen at Shielfield was the round of the U21 World Final a few years back. I think as Fromafar eludes to alot of the modern day riders are as quick as each other when in front but couldnt pass wind behind.

If Berwick have any ideas of doing anything this season Hagon needs to be moved on now.

I genuinely find the silence from Berwick’s promotion at this stage absolutely astounding. I know theres various happy clappers on here who worship any words that they’re told by them but they’re having everyone for absolute mugs just as Cook is.

Absolutely no sympathy whatsoever for Berwicks promotion. In my eyes they are just as culpable as Cook is. As soon as he let Leicester down he should have been released. Another complete shambles that can be added to an already lengthy list.

If this is true and it turns out that Cook doesnt turn up at the first meeting then all 73 members of the Berwick promotion will deserve every bit of criticism they get.

Great approach. Speedway fans are always treat with the respect that paying a fortune to watch it should deserve so I’m sure this occasion wont be any different.

The silence from Berwick at this stage for me is quite remarkable. Do they really just expect people to rock up to the first meeting without a clue whether or not Cook will actually bother turning up? As usual, fans taken for complete mugs. I’m going to send my brick back and ask for a refund.

What about Keynan Rew?

Not good news for Berwick at all but in some ways at least its happened before the season has started so theres a little bit of time to replace him. Cant imagine he’ll get another gig in a speedway team after this.

My biggest worry for Berwick is how long it will take before Craig Cook and KIldemand have a big fall out. Both extremely fiery characters so lets hope Dickson manages to keep them both in check.
