Great result for Berwick and breaking the Redcar hoodoo. -

I thought you’d learnt your lesson years ago. -

Justin Sedgmen since he first came over to this country has always hated riding at Berwick and has often been very open about that and his scores have reflected that feeling. You’d have to be delighted on that basis to have him in as a guest this evening. Redcar comfortably by 16-18 points. -
An excellent new piece on the Dirt Extra by that journalist fella for anyone who’s interested. No actual meaningful speedway content mind you but a good read none the less. Good job nobody within the club reads what the ‘forum fannies’ are saying I reckon.

Berwick v Edinburgh Championship 22.07.2023@7pm

Aye Etheridge has been tearing it up home and away for months hasn’t he. Another shrewd move I must agree with you. Anyone paying 20 quid to watch wants their heads testing. -
Divine intervention.
-
Just awaiting Dr Dick to check him over then George will be told what to trot out on the website.
-
Inspirational.
-
Why’s there not been any dirt extra entries for well over a month? Desperately missing hearing from Dick and his merry band of happy clappers.

Benny the Bandit.

Genuine question for any none promotion hoop lickers. What the hell is Etheridge still doing anywhere near this side? Absolutely embarrassing. Any other club and he’d have been booted ages ago. Must be a top bloke in the pub is all I can think?

Oxford vs Berwick - Champ - 5th July
emilali replied to Bojangles's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Etheridge has been going backwards for the last 3 years but has still been a shoe in when team building comes around. Flint after initial promise is bang average. Both be number 1 and 2 choices for next years 1-7 no doubt. -
Is this the worst Berwick 1-7 ever put together in the post Peter Waite era?

Birmingham v Berwick Wed 21st June CL

Who cares, both utter dross as usual. -
Another sad day for the sport in this country. Fingers crossed a new stadium can be found and Wolves aren’t another lost club.
-
Both be hastily writing a column for the Dirt Extra calling out the ‘Forum Fannies’ for questioning the admission prices I would imagine.
-
Genuinely interested to see how many people are willing/able to pay £18/20 each week to watch the 1-7 assembled. Could be a few problems if this team performs as the vast majority of Berwick teams do.

Outstandingly ballsy move from MM going round Freddie there!!

GRAND PRIX CHALLENGE

Apologies if this has already been posted and answered elsewhere but does anybody know if the tickets for the GP challenge at Glasgow have been released yet? If not, any idea when and where they are to be released? Thanks. -
Edinburgh v Glasgow KO Friday 3rd June
emilali replied to Al Stewart's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I wonder if the big I am will be looking to double down in the National League next season as it seems his days dominating this league have long gone . -
I dunno what was worse tbh that Berwick performance or the stream going off. Harris and Wells were excellent but the rest were garbage. As many of us pointed out pre season Proctor was an awful signing even at reserve. Bickley wants to go and try tiddliwinks because he’s never going to amount to anything in speedway. Not seen much of Flint but I personally thought he looked a bit erratic and i thought Pijper was a mile away. Comfortable passage through for Redcar.
