Think the thing is with Cookie if hes allowed to roll and gate he wins, if not, does nothing from behind, except at the trick track Armadale where the opposition generally hate riding. Cook appears to have gone backwards in the EL this season, and the PL really isnt very strong so still mainly dominating that really isnt all that hard.

Bellego was useless, Carr not alot better. Vissing great effort and 100% as always, same from Weathers. Doolan not interested if he didnt gate, Jensen looked good when he worked the place out. Great night for Kus looked excellent, no idea why he didnt get ht 15. Poor meeting in general, the Berwick tracks gets some stick but seriously how boring is brough, 1 line, and ive been there a fee times this season and its been the same every time. Well done Newcastle though.

I would do that yes. Doolan is not going to get any better at this stage in his career and Rosen has undoubted potential. Clearly some people think Doolan is doing a great job so far, which frankly doesnt surprise me. Put a monkey on a bike and in a Bandits bib and they'd congratulate and applaud it until the cows come home. 🐑

Decent meeting without being spectacular. Workington were pretty much a cut above from the start, with the exception of Chris Mills who was absolutely woeful, why is he still in the team? Josh G absolutely untouchable throughout, he has really stepped up this season. Gating seemed to let the Diamonds down mostly, and when the Comets got out front they were quick. Imagine changes will be imminent at Brough.

Had planned to do this meeting before they are both 6 man teams, cant decide whether I will bother now. Fancy Newcastle by about 6.

Decent enough meeting, Jensen very good again, shame Kus got in his way the heat they got 5-1'd, I think Jensen would have passed them. Doolan looking pretty uninspiring, hopefully he will pick up. Alot better from Carr, Weathers as dependable as ever and Kus the usual enigma, brilliant when he gates, cant pass for toffee when he doesnt. Expect Berwick to go through on Thursday, think this is a pretty poor Sheffield side with the exception of Stead who really is a class above, always been one of the best visitors to Berwick over the years and he certainly didnt disappoint.
