  1. There’s a rumour going round some Exeter lads that Henry is going to jack speedway in right now. Anyone know if it’s true and why.
  2. Just home and would like to suggest some improvements for the home management to consider, fully accepting the unusually large size of today’s crowd: 1. Make it clear on your website and other relevant publicity that card admission on the night is only available at the new grandstand entrance unless of course you have imminent plans to offer this at the old grandstand turnstile. 2. Make it clear with permanent signage at every entrance point, which queue (cash only or card only) spectators should join and employ/brief sufficient staff on how to guide ‘punters’ to the appropriate areas for speed of admission. 3. Please consider reintroducing spectators having pit access until say 7.00 pm Thank you and congratulations to your Pirates on an impressive performance. Edited to add a suggestion that opening the gates earlier may well have eased the congestion.
  3. Radio coverage listed by BBC WM so results could be lifted from there if someone is listening in.
  4. No chance of completing the trip in time. Championship fixture will take priority so Colts will be allowed a guest.
  5. First NDL meeting of the season available to live stream for £11.99 via Plymouth website. Really don’t know which way this one will go.
  6. I find your references to Richard Lawson as ‘Greebo’ to be completely out dated and unnecessary. Please change the record now.
  7. I would speculate £1,500 per meeting with no obligation to do heat 15.
  8. IF….IF it is to be Adam Ellis, he will be one busy boy. With Premiership, Sweden and Poland (Latvia) already scheduled, another league could be one step too far.
  9. A Danish rider at a Wednesday track seems strange to me.
  10. Would a season in the NDL make sense or would a step too far at this late stage?
  11. Barry. You could start that topic in the Way Ahead section yourself. Then paste in the various recent posts that you want to appear.
  12. Showing 6.00pm on the new British Speedway site.
  13. I wonder if Crumpie was being courted to ride but had a change of heart thus the recent inclusion of Josh and Dillon. Batch, Scotty and Crumpie would have a been a great spearhead.
  14. Well regarded youngster who will benefit from the experience of those around him. Be very interesting to follow his progression as he combines his Poole work with NL racing for the Colts.
  15. I went to the press conference and don’t remember any rider saying that they wanted to return - because they weren’t asked directly. When the presenter said to the fans something like ‘Wouldn’t it be great to have them back?’ there was, naturally, a very positive ‘yes’ from the floor and the interviews were understandably steered away from putting the riders on the spot.
  16. Agreed, but away form is patchy and that could be a problem. Does give the Gladiators an extra 0.5 ish to rearrange the middle order slightly.
  17. Thanks. Congratulations to all the winners especially the IOW who have proved yet again that they really do know what they are doing.
  18. It will be golden heats. Nominated riders. First team to record a heat advantage wins so, for example, a 4-2 to either team in heat 16/31 would be enough to take the title. If heat 16/31 was a 3-3 then on to heat 17/32 with different nominated riders looking for a heat advantage to win the meeting.
  19. Bournemouth Echo confirming Jack Thomas at Glasgow and , as expected, Zach Cook at Poole.
  20. Doubt it, clash of race night, but as one Roo boy leaves perhaps another’s coming in.
  21. Is he no longer involved with the PACE project that was going to use the Coliseum for some of its activities?
