Poole Pirates Vs Edinburgh Monarchs 1st June
Dickie Head replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Lasse must be a doubt after his off on Friday night, not forgetting WTF Monarchs are at Plymouth on Tuesday where anything can happen. If your going take a few pens. -
Brummies might need 2 guests. Just seen Shane’s named in Long Track of Nations meeting at Herxheim.

Stefan Nielsen presumably ok after his fall (and medical attention) at Perry Bar last night. -

Sedgmen is a possible guest for the Tigers……..or I am wrong in thinking he left them under a bit of a cloud? -

Taken from International Section. Both sides missing riders. Brennan and Kemp on international duty in Czecho. -

The official scorecard shows Chris Gay was the referee with Gary Allen as his trainee. -
Poole Pirates Vs Newcastle Diamonds 11/5/22
Dickie Head replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Watched on Poole livestream. Diamonds tried hard and contributed to some good heats. First time on the Poole stream and thought it was pretty good and to me was fair value so might use it again in future. Anyone else watch it. -

Poole have just put out a tweet saying ‘on as it stands. Track holding up well. Sunshine due shortly’. Of course if you don’t fancy risking it in person you can jump on the Poole livestream when it’s confirmed it’s on and be entertained by Scott Mitchell commentary. -

Please have a look at page 112/3 of the 2022 regulations as shown below: 012.4 FACILITIES Speedway Control Bureau Regulations Absent rider(s) 1 - 3 by MA - G or RR 1 absent rider 4 - 5 by MA - RR (unless RR is already being used then it’s a G) Both riders 4–5 - RR x 1, G x 1 at the Team Managers discretion Absent 6 – 7 - Premiership League if not a Rising Star = G Championship League = G To me that means the Brummies could have used either RR or a guest for the rider number 3 in the averages. -

Anyone watch the livestream of the meeting? Thinking of buying the stream for the Newcastle meeting (don’t laugh). Is it any good. -
Plymouth vs Poole (League) 3rd May
Dickie Head replied to lbw's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
New averages mean new choice of guests. Ryan Douglas scorecard looked very useful last Tuesday and I believe Scott Nicholls is a possible. If Henry has jacked it in as was rumoured around Exeter last night it could mean a guest appearance for Jason Edwards. Probably totally off beam but we’ll see. -
Plymouth Gladiators 2022

There’s a rumour going round some Exeter lads that Henry is going to jack speedway in right now. Anyone know if it’s true and why. -
Poole v Oxford 15/4/22
Dickie Head replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Just home and would like to suggest some improvements for the home management to consider, fully accepting the unusually large size of today’s crowd: 1. Make it clear on your website and other relevant publicity that card admission on the night is only available at the new grandstand entrance unless of course you have imminent plans to offer this at the old grandstand turnstile. 2. Make it clear with permanent signage at every entrance point, which queue (cash only or card only) spectators should join and employ/brief sufficient staff on how to guide ‘punters’ to the appropriate areas for speed of admission. 3. Please consider reintroducing spectators having pit access until say 7.00 pm Thank you and congratulations to your Pirates on an impressive performance. Edited to add a suggestion that opening the gates earlier may well have eased the congestion. -

Good job it’s being streamed by BSN. -

Radio coverage listed by BBC WM so results could be lifted from there if someone is listening in. -
No chance of completing the trip in time. Championship fixture will take priority so Colts will be allowed a guest.

First NDL meeting of the season available to live stream for £11.99 via Plymouth website. Really don’t know which way this one will go.
-
I find your references to Richard Lawson as ‘Greebo’ to be completely out dated and unnecessary. Please change the record now.
-
I would speculate £1,500 per meeting with no obligation to do heat 15.
-
IF….IF it is to be Adam Ellis, he will be one busy boy. With Premiership, Sweden and Poland (Latvia) already scheduled, another league could be one step too far.
-
A Danish rider at a Wednesday track seems strange to me.
-
Would a season in the NDL make sense or would a step too far at this late stage?
-
Barry. You could start that topic in the Way Ahead section yourself. Then paste in the various recent posts that you want to appear.

Showing 6.00pm on the new British Speedway site.
