Have they changed then? In an earlier thread they were given as 23rd & 30th Sept for the semi's & 7th & 10th Oct for the finals.

It was already scheduled in, as most clubs have a collection this month from what Rosco said in the pre-match interview but obviously after Darcy's accident it suddenly takes on a different meaning. I would imagine that any collections taken since the recent accidents have raised more than usual.

I have seen a lot of comment regarding BV's refusal to allow their riders to guest for other p/off rivals but is there any way that they can reinforce this. I have seen no mention of this in the rule books.

It looks as tho' Swindon may be going for r/r on Wednesday, which will weaken them & I don't see anything but a KL win.

Unfortunately, it has now been altered immensely by Ward's devastating injury. I hope & pray for a full recovery. This may well impact on Swindon's chances as he has had an enormous influence on team spirit but that is now the least of my worries. That's true but their still was some great racing tonight. Summers hunting down Porsing in heat 1 & then the 2 passing & re-passing each other for 2 laps, Ward on Lindgren in heat 7& then Zengota steering Charles Wright home in heat 8.

It has to be said that Kings Lynn have performed poorly at Swindon in their last 4 trips. I was expecting a stronger showing tonight but none of the KL riders got into their stride tonight until the meeting was over.

I think that I have as much chance of winning the lottery as seeing a new stadium & I don't do the lottery! If we get a new stadium, we can rename ourselves the "Fling Pigs"! When the new stadium was mooted without a speedway track, the supporters club raised a big hoo ha & got the plans altered but they now seem to have gone quiet & I believe that they will now regret this.

I think you will find that we were a lot weaker then however, from the weather reports so far, it seems much more likely that the weather will win & there will be no racing at all.

Yes but you seem to be saying that Wolves could bring in 2 7 point riders in addition to PK & that is not correct, they could re-declare with 2 7 point riders However the rule does not mean that you can't have more than 2 7 point averages in your team when their averages increase, it is only if you re-declare.

It's nice to see a post by someone that knows the rules. He's not right about Wolves being able to bring in 2 7 point riders, unless they drop PK as his average in the current green sheet averages is 7.04.

Not sure about this due to riders with assessed averages, I notice Walasek's average has dropped from 6.24 to 6.00 as from 8/8.

It could do for riders without an EL average & riding on an assessed average. I believe that changes after 8 rides.
