Peterborough v Sheffield - 21st Aug

I have always enjoyed my trips to Alwalton, especially the fours finals back in the day. But even it can't hold a candle to the NSS imo -

What's happening to the NSS? -
I'm pretty sure it's a minimum 3.00 ave used in the Prem.
-
Think you're being unduly harsh on Lambert. He's been one of Lynn's bright spots this year & Belle Vue must be the hardest track for an away reserve to score points at.

Wolves v Witches Monday 21st Aug

That's a good average for a first season rising star. Witches issues are elsewhere. -

I've often wondered why riders carry on when owed that much? Surely after £5000 you start to question when the money's coming. I'm positive a rider would certainly win any court case against the BSPL if they were banned for withholding their services after not being paid - would take a strong rider to make that stand though. Last I can think of was Scott Nicholls when they wouldn't let him double up. -

If every rider agreed to to sign such a one sided contract, clubs would have to re-negotiate. I've often thought that as a rider who leaves a club gets a 28 day ban, should a club dropping a rider now pay him for any matches missed over the next 28 days? Unless they've found a new team. Wouldn't stop clubs trying to strengthen, but may limit like-for-like changes. Of course they could start smaller with something like "each rider gets 6 matches guaranteed before he can be dropped" -

I certainly agree with plenty of what he says, but why do riders sign these contracts that allow promoters fre reign to drop them on a whim. Obviously second strings and reserves can't hold clubs to ransom, but what's to stop an established heat leaders saying if I get dropped I want paid for 14 days? Once that becomes the norm, move onto second strings. It's become clear in the Championship there's not enough heat leaders to go around, so clubs may be willing. -
While it would make sense for Killeen to join the club with the most fixtures left, if he did join Berwick, he'd be available to guest in the play-offs
-
Peterborough is a very different track to Plymouth
-
Is it worth giving Bellego another chance instead of Ellis?
-
It's possible I read the same person commenting about Boughen many many times & just assumed it was a multitude of people "knowing" he was going to Glasgow?
-
I certainly wouldn't have signed Wojdylo ahead of the Plymouth fixture. Likely to be stronger using r/r
-
Don't trust Plymouth's posts, they had Gilkes down to race at Glasgow when everyone knew he was racing in SON2
-
While it's possible they're looking to replace Ellis, if he had been dropped you'd think he'd be going hell for leather to show other clubs what's he's capable of?
-
Dropping Pickering & Ellis to keep Woffy when Holder returns, leaves 2.87, I'm sure the minimum Prem ave is 3.00? 1 Holder (8.91) 2 Kerr (5.73) 3 Woffinden (7.03) 4 Howarth (5.75) 5 Museliak (8.71) 6 Remaining (2.87) 7 Gilkes (RS)

Leicester lions 2023 (PREMIERSHIP)

Maybe Holder's not coming back. But looking at the figures dropping Ellis & Pickering to bring back Holder & a 3.00 reserve, is still over the limit! -
They could do whatever if it fits under 39. Holder for Woffinden is the only change that doesn't have to come in under the points limit.
-
I can't believe I noticed & read comments about someone making that mistake, then made the exact same mistake lol!
-
How where are all the people who were convinced Boughen was going to Glasgow?
-
Drop Morris & Nielsen & Birmingham could run with this squad lol! Robert Lambert 11.72 Troy Batchelor 7.45 Justin Sedgmen 6.94 Alfie Bowtell 4.93 Paul Starke 4.55 Sam Hagon 2.00 Luke Killeen 2.00 Maybe Niels K Iversen, or Jaimon Lidsey would be more realistic though?
-
Gotta say I'm surprised Oxford dropped Killeen. Boughen is obviously one for the future, but is he any better now? If he's signed as an asset can understand it though.
-
That is the crux of many fans frustrations, as we can't understand why they were allowed to cancel a match because they couldn't find ONE guest? Now if Laguta wasn't available, why wasn't that announced as the reason? Otherwise fans have no reason to believe he wouldn't be there (as he wasn't injured). The lack of transparency from Lynn / BSPL is the biggest issue.
-
Why do Lynn get to demand a suitable replacement or they won't race? If Laguta walked out on them and they can't get a Champ heat leader as a guest, then get a Champ second string instead. No reason for them to be allowed to call off the match imo. Especially if it means other teams can do the exact same thing from now to eternity
