I wouldn't say Kent couldn't win because of the points limit, they chose to go for a strong top 4 followed by 3 X 3.00 riders! Rye House did the same though and reached the play - offs (by finishing 5th)! I'm dissapointed that the playoffs are back, at the end of this year JPB rode for Buxton but guested for Birmingham in the gold cup, what's to stop a team signing a great 3 pointer who has just turned 15 and winning the league! Also i wouldn't agree with people saying the 40 point limit is too high, the average team should be 42 points at the end of the season regardless of how many teams or what the starting Ave is. so technically next years NL is weaker than this season's!
-
If Edinburgh wait till there are no 3 point places left, they shouldn't have to pay over the odds as they can say to the riders it's us or you're stuck racing NL only!
-
Not got an awful bottom 3 I reckon. Even if Roynon doesn't improve he'll still be a decent number 6, while Williamson is a fair number 7!
-
It's a stronger number 1 than Wolves had this year though!
-
I agree Boxall is stronger than Nelson but don't think Richie Worrall will score as many as Grajczonek but as Belle Vue were a top 4 team in 2015, that stands them in good stead for 2016. For example another top 4 team Coventry seem a lot weaker for 2016!
-
King's Lynn have Ryan Kinsley (5.13) at reserve so there can't be a rule saying you need 2 X 3.00 riders at reserve!
-
Looks a decent team, a bit weak at number 7 & don't have top end like Cradley, but still looks good i think!
-
I think Wolves will do ok at home this year with decent riders. But i can't see too many race winners away from home i'm afraid. Plus they may have the weakest number 7 in the league.
-
Does anyone know Kacper Woryna's assessed ave? I think Coventry could just about hold their own at home, but away will struggle lower down the team!
-
At home (once they get dialed in) i'd say the aces have a good top 4 and a solid bottom end. Away from home a decent top 3 and at least no duffers in the team!

I always wonder why its not Workington, Glasgow, Edinburgh then Berwick with Newcastle & Redcar? -
Magnus Karlsson (8.40) & Anton Rosen (5.14) would fit!
-
If the Bears have 8.4 points left for there last rider but say there's no one available on that ave. Why sign Simon Nielsen, why not go for 2 5/6 point riders? Possibles for the last rider! Magnus Karlsson 8.40 Dakota North 8.27 Kenneth Bjerre 8.22 Kacper Gomolski 7.71 Peter Karlsson 7.71 Ryan Fisher 7.52

If Lakeside use Mear, Kerr & Blackbird that would leave 7.46 for the final rider! Kenni Larsen? 1 Andreas Jonsson 7.84 2 Kenni Larsen 7.26 3 Kim Nilsson 6.98 4 Eddie Kennett 5.86 5 Robert Mear 4.44 6 Lewis Kerr 4.22 7 Lewis Blackbird 3.70 Total: 40.30
-
I reckon Vissing is a good signing too!
-
How about this team? 1 Piotr Protasiewicz 7.67 2 Linus Sundstrom 7.22 3 Gregorz Walasek 5.91 4 Thomas H Jonasson 5.69 5 Szymon Wozniak 5.51 6 Josh Auty 4.80 7 Paul Starke 3.60 Total: 40.40

If people are doubting Mason Campton's ability, how about Adam Ellis on a 4.67 ave?
