Wasn't he badly injured in an off track injury ? I seem to remember something about a car crash when he was on his motorcycle I was Disappointed about this. Lee's been around long enough to know better I don't care what he's taken a Banned substance is a banned substance, all sports competitors are responsible for what they put into their body , legal or not . I always enjoyed watching him , doesn't look like il be seeing him anytime soon.

Berwick v Redcar 11/05/24 Championship

Not a problem with him riding for Berwick tonight, or any other night when he's available, surely the home team is entitled to every advantage they can get I'm sure any visiting team would be quite happy to book him if the needed a guest and he was free and able to ride for them -

That’s the reason certain painkillers and the like are banned in cycling, don’t want someone nodding off in the middle of the peloton -

The racing may not have started but the meeting started when the riders sign in , sports like football and athletics usually do the testing after the match or race has finished and they are suspended from the next match or whatever -

Isn’t it normal practice to suspend a rider or any other sportsperson until the outcome of the second test only then can any punishment be applied ? -

Is that the sound of a reversing alarm I hear, with a u-turn like that you should be a politician, or maybe it was just a fishing trip looking for a few bites , if it was looks like you were successful -

If it's something like a Lemsip or Night Nurse that causes a rider to provide a non-negative sample I still find it strange that this would happen especially after all the publicity from recent events . These types of medications are can cause drowsiness, that's one of the reasons they are banned . Surely by now riders know what's on the banned list and I'm sure team bosses will have stressed to their riders to be careful about what they are taking . If it's something stronger the I've no sympathy for any rider who fall foul of the testing regime. They're bound to know that there's always a chance that they might get tested. In both scenarios it's sheer stupidity if you get caught,. -

Looking at my weather app , it's showing 94% chance of rain on Friday for Armadale -
Always good to start the season with a couple of wins

A long term plan is only any good if they actually stick to it and don't scrap it after two seasons

I know that rules are rules, but surely they could have fined Bartock and warned him -
Depending on what shows up in the test , it's not illegal to drive if you have taken a lemsip or cough mixture

Personally I felt Steve Boxall going straight into the pits without finishing the heat was far more disrespectful than a showman celebrating in front of his own supporters but I guess you're probably one of those people who doesn't like football players who celebrate scoring goals against their old clubs

Yup , I traveled through to Glasgow last Sunday on the train to watch the cycling and it cost me less than the admission price for last weekends double header and that was before you take into account the cost of fuel to get to Berwick and back , money is tight for a lot of people these days and I'm sure Bandit fans aren't the only ones feeling the pinch

I'd say that the majority of people aren't really that fussy about what happens away from home as these days not that many will travel to those matches, but they do want to see Berwick win at home or at least be competitive, turning up most weeks to see your team lose meekly is pretty demoralising no matter what sport you're watching. I have at times this season seriously debated weather or not to buy a ticket for meetings . I've bought one for tonight's meeting because I've nothing else on and tonight's TV ilooks poor , but I'd imagine this will probably be my last match this year
