Isn't always the case that the people blessed with all the talent are the ones who seem least well equipped to deal with , just look at people like George Best or Alex Higgins and a few more that we could mention across may walks of life

Don't see the point of that , random testing is just as much of a deterrent . If you don't consume alcohol in the lead up to a meeting or take banned substances then you wont get caught if your one of the riders called to provide a sample. Isn't not knowing weather you'll be chosen is just as effective as knowing you will be tested ? Unless you're stupid enough to take a chance that is .

One question that has remained unanswered in this whole sorry mess is who among Darcys advisors / mates / pit crew thought it was a good idea to allow him to consume alcohol less than 24 hours before a GP ? Surely someone in his team should of had the sense to see that this was not the greatest of ideas especially after already dodging a bullet earlier in the season , and been able to talk to him and tell that maybe he should lay off the booze , but unfortunately for Darcy as on his crew is probably Middlo it's understandable why we are in this clusteridiot of a situation now, perhaps one lesson he's learned is that he needs better mates around him and not a bunch of clowns who want party all the time
