  1. You should have been winning that especially at home. You won’t get a better chance than that!
  2. No idea why they’ve not just swapped Rowe and Hume around if they intend on using them both. Rowe is our official rising star, so bring him back in at 7 and then use Hume for Barker. Your number 8 (Hume) can replace any member of the team on a meeting by meeting basis, without the need to re-declare.

  4. “Erik had a successful operation which showed no ligament damage, but he will still be out for four to six weeks which takes us to the play-offs. We are definitely looking at options at what we can do regarding that and that may or may not include Ben’s situation which we should know more about imminently. We have only got until the Belle Vue meeting where we are allowed to make changes, so we have got to act quickly. Me and Chris (Louis) have spent the last week constantly on the phone talking about it and there are plans in place for whatever eventuality.” https://ipswichwitches.co/raceday-preview-kings-lynn-premiership-a-2/ The “plans in place” are the two riders mentioned, I’m confident of that. Let’s see what happens over the next few days. We’ll know by Friday I’d imagine if we’re on plan A or on to plan B..
  5. And TBF Starke has been out a while now and he’s clearly lacking some sharpness. Not sure there’s any need for petty criticism of Starke.
  6. R/R for Riss and our rising star Anders Rowe comes back in for Barker at number 4. Seems we’ve written this one off..
  7. You think Tungate and Summers is a downgrade on Riss and Barker? Fair enough but I respectfully disagree. The only downside for me possibly, is it could upset the balance of the side. We seemed to have the blend right and they were riding well collectively as a team. That’s my only worry now with these changes.
  8. No chance. Riss comfortably better than Summers. But on the whole, the 1-7 certainly doesn’t appear weaker as a result of the two changes.
  9. Agree and disagree. Agree on attitude, but he rides Foxhall well. If he doesn’t like it, then he hid it well when riding for us.
  10. Tungate finished on 6.59 in 2019 with Peterborough.
  11. lol indeed. Must say I’m surprised, but at the end of the day business is business. The club get a decent rider in and the rider has the opportunity to earn a few quid.
  12. Let’s hope they’ve got a better calculator than the one they’ve used in the past though..
  13. I did check with the source before naming them and was given the ok, so it’s Tungate and Summers for Riss and Barker. BSPA approval permitting.
  14. Are you suggesting Kerr for Ipswich here BB? We’d actually like to try and win the thing this year
  15. Well we can’t say these two changes weaken the side, so no excuses.
  16. Wouldn’t want Kerr as a replacement for Riss personally.
  17. All gone Pete Tong sadly. Shame as we were going like a train.
  18. Agree it’s been well worth the season ticket this year very enjoyable. Winning helps as well obviously! We’ve been top pretty much all season long. Knocked off briefly on occasions but soon resumed top spot when we’ve ridden our next meeting and caught up meetings. Don’t think anyone thought that when we lost every single one of our cup meetings!
  19. He might not particularly like it, but he rides it ok. I have us winning and Sheffield picking up a point.
  20. R/R now for Musielak. Everyone bar Holder can take a ride for him. Not that Holder would have taken one of his rides anyway
  21. R/R now confirmed for Starke, and Tom Brennan guests for Ben Barker. He aggravated his shoulder injury in a spill last night for Plymouth.
