  1. R/R for Riss and our rising star Anders Rowe comes back in for Barker at number 4. Seems we’ve written this one off..
  2. You think Tungate and Summers is a downgrade on Riss and Barker? Fair enough but I respectfully disagree. The only downside for me possibly, is it could upset the balance of the side. We seemed to have the blend right and they were riding well collectively as a team. That’s my only worry now with these changes.
  3. No chance. Riss comfortably better than Summers. But on the whole, the 1-7 certainly doesn’t appear weaker as a result of the two changes.
  4. Agree and disagree. Agree on attitude, but he rides Foxhall well. If he doesn’t like it, then he hid it well when riding for us.
  5. Tungate finished on 6.59 in 2019 with Peterborough.
  6. lol indeed. Must say I’m surprised, but at the end of the day business is business. The club get a decent rider in and the rider has the opportunity to earn a few quid.
  7. Let’s hope they’ve got a better calculator than the one they’ve used in the past though..
  8. I did check with the source before naming them and was given the ok, so it’s Tungate and Summers for Riss and Barker. BSPA approval permitting.
  9. Are you suggesting Kerr for Ipswich here BB? We’d actually like to try and win the thing this year
  10. Well we can’t say these two changes weaken the side, so no excuses.
  11. Wouldn’t want Kerr as a replacement for Riss personally.
  12. All gone Pete Tong sadly. Shame as we were going like a train.
  13. Agree it’s been well worth the season ticket this year very enjoyable. Winning helps as well obviously! We’ve been top pretty much all season long. Knocked off briefly on occasions but soon resumed top spot when we’ve ridden our next meeting and caught up meetings. Don’t think anyone thought that when we lost every single one of our cup meetings!
  14. He might not particularly like it, but he rides it ok. I have us winning and Sheffield picking up a point.
  15. R/R now for Musielak. Everyone bar Holder can take a ride for him. Not that Holder would have taken one of his rides anyway
  16. R/R now confirmed for Starke, and Tom Brennan guests for Ben Barker. He aggravated his shoulder injury in a spill last night for Plymouth.
  17. Late decision again for Starke otherwise as you were. Last meeting with Riss at reserve.
  18. Doyle is a given, you then go with the rider in form to partner him which at the moment is Batch. It was an obvious and sensible choice.
  19. Nope didn’t say that at all, simply saying that when he traps he can be very difficult to pass. Certainly wouldn’t “expect” the likes of Fricke and Kurtz to catch and pass him. Think it’s well known that when Batch misses the gate then he’s not a thrill merchant racer but he’s far from alone in that regard these days sadly. Having said that, I’ve seen Batch make a few cracking passes this year.
  20. LOL good ol Batch upsetting a few again. You love to see it
  21. Easier said then done. Batch can be very quick when he traps.
  22. When a rider of the calibre of Jeremy Doncaster never won this title is shows you the quality of the field back in the day. Still can’t believe he never won one!
  23. “Starkey has seen a different specialist today and had an MRI scan and they have found the problem. They’ve said he needs two to six weeks of recovery to be fully fit and he has already done one of them. We are hoping that it will be on lesser side, and he will be with us next meeting.” Should be fit for August.
