So no traditional AGM this year, all rules have already been agreed, and it’s a 39 points limit for 6 riders plus A rising star. 6 team Premiership remains although “extra competitions” have been added to increase fixtures.

Do you know when this AGM is Neil? It’s either a closely guarded secret this year or they haven’t arranged a date yet!

That’s an obvious downside, but their owners are very ambitious and I wouldn’t be surprised if they decide to give it a crack.

So were Danny King and Charles Wright in recent years, also “decent” riders. Being British champion doesn’t necessarily elevate you to anything more than that.

Would be interesting to know if one of those is King. If it is, then Poole will remain second tier as I just can’t see King leaving Ipswich.

Doyle an interesting shout. Always been loyal to British Speedway in the past, wonder if he could be tempted back to UK? More complicated these days though with Polish restrictions and travelling complications amongst other things so probably doubtful.

For some reason I had it in my mind that Klindt was replaced late on by Crump but he was replaced by Jake Allen so that emphasises my point even more! Klindt was the number 1 in that team in terms of stature and point scoring potential regardless what number he’d have started with. Klindt is like sh!t off a shovel at Foxhall that’s why a lot of us wanted him in the side. Those narrow home defeats would have been home victories with him in the side no doubt in my mind.
