  1. Great photos but got to admit I couldn`t put a name to a lot of them even though nearly all of them were from my era. Briggs. Broadbanks. Harkins. McMillan. King. Roynon. Middleditch. Straton. Stead Allen. Pratt. Morton. the others I couldn`t place a name.
  2. i didn`t know Colin North at all but this year at the British Final I parked up behind a car on the road side. A man got out of the car and opened the boot, I could see it was full of TengTools merchandise of which I spotted some TengTools caps. He picked up some caps and other stuff and began walking off to the stadium, I asked him were the caps for sale he pondered a second and said here you can have one. So I was shocked to see the photo of him on Twitter I will always remember that moment, it was a nice gesture. everytime I put my TengTools cap on I`ll think of him.
  3. I would think he`ll be wanting to come back to Sheffield now they`re top flight if hes fit.
  4. According to RAC route planner its 39 point summat. I looked it up before posting it Those were the days Mary Hopkin
  5. I thought the ruling was new speedway tracks couldn`t open up within a certain distance. didn`t know it was to do with them running on the same night together. Halifax and Belle Vue are roughly 40 miles apart and both raced on Saturday
  6. Coventry picked him up after he was sacked at Lakeside after he missed some meetings. Schlein went the other way to Kings Lynn in return for Bridger. That was Kasprzaks best season he didn`t do too well the following season when teamed up with Nicholls. Kasperzak was doing well at Belle Vue up until they sacked two riders to bring Crump in after that he lost all interest don`t think he cared for Crump too much it was said at the time he got changed in his van.
  7. Personally think Hancock should call it a day in the GPs. Hes old and should be thinking more about his family now especially after recent events. I would hate to see him having a bad accident and being beyond repair.
  8. Its more likely to be the other way round. Don`t think Buster will be stuck for Holder theres plenty more fish in the sea
  9. I thought he said he wanted a wild card. I think he would be better off calling it a day now I dont think he will be competitive enough after his long lay off. Better to finish now in one piece for his familys sake
  10. I think Kelvin does a good job. Theres not much Kiri can ask the riders I think shes ok. For me Pearson is too biased, you can tell by his commentary which riders he favours most.
  11. My wife says it was 2008... we went 06. 07. 08. 09 It definitely happened as we bought the horn at the stadium and had to hand it in. It was thrown in a bin as I said previously.
  12. Haven`t been to Cardiff since Bomber won it but on that occasion air horns were confiscated and put in a bin.. On the way out they were still in the bins for you to help yourself to
  13. I dont know why but Bomber has never been the same since the new silencers were introduced.
