  1. No I looked at my watch it was nearly two and a half hours and the bowser mainly came out during the normal grading breaks.. there was too much time wasted between heats.
  2. I thought it was a decent meeting but two and a half hours is far too long for fifteen races.
  3. I agree it was poor stuff ! The last four races weren`t too bad. Danny Kings a good rider but am not impressed with his team riding skills he never looks round for his mate. and they seem to have a problem which line to ride when they`re behind him.
  4. I went to Scunthorpe and they had the track well watered and they watered again during grading time. there was no dust. There was some dust in the car park though
  5. If the race doesn`t finish to your liking ask for a rerun thats what usually happens !
  6. I` ve not been to Scunthorpe before whats the car parking facilitys like please. Wheres best place to park ? Thanks in advance.
  7. No it doesn`t matter but its one of the reasons Speedway is on a downward spiral. It portrays a poor image.
  8. Apparently Coventry Speedway LTD has been dissolved. Dont know what this means exactly perhaps somebody in the know can enlighten us.
  9. I agree ! don`t think its about big names as some seem to think on here I`ve watched a few Swedish meetings and found them to be no better than the stuff served up here.
  10. I thought of that but they don`t look too good when they`re flapping about in the wind. They`re ok for guest riders.
  11. Yes I think they look great, they look a professional outfit just like it should be. The Poole lot looked terrible last year.
  12. I think I`ve seen it on the website but can`t find it now, does anybody know when the Tigers press & practice is please
  13. So ! When its a close finish its the rider who gets his ponder over the line first who wins and not the rider who gets his front wheel over first...
  14. Wasn`t there a Les Bentzen at Halifax as well in the Halifax later years.
  15. I remember him as a gater and a one line rider. dont think he did much passing but he mainly didn`t need to as gating was his forte. He was a good number one at Sheffield.
  16. Theres a pub. called The Windmill and its just five minutes drive from the stadium. Its a Stonehouse chain pub doing Pizzas and carverys. Look it up on their website for sat nav details. The Windmill Denton Manchester.
  17. I thought it was a decent crowd there looked to be quite a lot on the back straight and a few rebels fans as well
  18. I thought Auty rode really well. Nicholls has no complaints he just couldn`t cut the mustard. I thought the Leicester riders as a whole rode as individuals, there were several occasions where a bit of team riding would have produced more points, Hans Andersen being the main culprit. I don't think Stead should have took mountain out he was doing a good job and to replace him didn`t make a scrap of difference to the result, he needs more rides not less.
  19. After watching the meeting Aces v Leicester which was conducted on a super smooth surface where riders could blast round at great speed it was a big come down to see the shocking state of the track at Somerset. I was lead to believe Somerset was one of the better tracks but apparently I was misled. I think its one of the roughest surfaces ever shown on BT sport .even worse than Pooles.
