Would have been more optimistic if NBJ had still been at reserve, Gappmaier now drops down and normally struggles at Ipswich. Due to Berwick's efficiency in getting all their home meetings done and dusted, a lot of the riders have had almost a 3 week break from riding. Just hope it is a good close safe meeting.
Exactly Doolan Number 1 at the cut off date plus in his defence has not ridden for over 2 weeks due to Berwick completing their home fixtures in good time.
Riders Championship was always a big occasion in days gone by especially at Wimbledon. Best dressed bus nowadays a 1 in 4 chance of winning it, Miss NL Speedway as it was then all leading up to the meeting itself.
Hopefully Bandits can pick up a win tonight against the Monarchs, main thing is we see a good safe meeting. After the meeting the Berwick Bandits Supporters Club will be making a presentation to Theo Pijper to help towards some recent bike repairs. Presentation will take place in the Black and Gold.
Monarchs Supporters Trust does a good job but they have 7 payment levels starting from £10 per month up to £100 per month. I know from involvement with Bandits 2012 Group how difficult it was just to get people to pay £10 per month.
Bandits will be looking for a home win to keep any playoff place alive. Glasgow without the services of Craig Cook call on Rory Schlein as a more than capable guest. Glasgow top 4 all capable of scoring points around Shielfield but Bandits probably stronger at reserve. Bandits to sneak it 46-44.
