  1. Good luck to Scunny in the final. Scunny to win the 1st leg by 14+.
  2. Things sound promising for next year for some new clubs! Which would be good to see!
  3. It was very impressed with Kerr. Great to see how much progress some of them have made this year.
  4. Great performance by the Young Stars. Well done the best team won tonight. Massive thanks to Clint for taking on the updates & also to Mish89 for posting Martins correct surname. For the Young Stars I thought Kerr, Campos, Woods were all superb difficult to pick the best performance out of those 3, I'd go for Kerr, he's made a huge amount of progress. Allott was a good choice of guest & as always looked classy at this level when out in front, we were even treated to a collectors item pass from him. Stokes & Naylor were both ok tonight. For the Hornets Greenwood looked great, he'd probably get my nod for Hornet of the meeting very good prospect, although Jay & Brendon were fantastic tonight. Whilst Bates & JWW were solid. Andrews tried hard but wasn't his night tonight, & Martin Knuckey looked like he had something despite his falls & more experience & track time will help him. Heat 15 was an absoloutely belting race between Herne & Kerr and up there with the best races I've seen this season.
  5. Hopefully we get a good turnout for the training school & with the opportunity to ride in this fixture be interesting to see how many riders turn up and give it a go, It's a big opportunity for somebody to get a few rides before the end of season and put there name out there. The Hornets will be without TK but are going to track a full 7 man team with a debut for Dan Greenwood. Additionally it's great to see the Hornets having a chance to ride on the track in the evening & under floodlights, hopefully we will get a decent crowd come out to support them against what is an improving Young Stars team. The Newport Drillerman Hornets will be not in riding order: Richard Andrews; Matt Bates; Dan Greenwood; Jay Herne (capt); Brendan Johnson; James White-Williams; Winner of the 'Vulture' races.
  6. I got it right Well the 4 play off teams have been decided and all those fixtures that could have been potentially costly turned out not to be thankfully. And we have ended up with the 4 strongest teams going into the Play Offs IMO. I think the following we all guessed would happen. But confirmation Stoke have chosen Midlenhall is HERE
  7. Many thanks to Bandit4Life for taking on the role of updater for the afternoon. Was a poor meeting and very hard watching, track looked ok on my arrival given the recent weather conditions, but dried out rapidly and by heat 4 it was bone dry, the blue groove appeared and lots of dust was generated. Glad we dont run on Sunday afternoons for PL meetings. The Ref made some questionable decisions, The Hornets were plagued with Bike issues. But really the only good thing in the meeting was the Colts performance. The Colts were superb from the gate and that was that. Great win as they made the best of conditions.

  9. Cheers for that info Main Man. Hope all 3 are ok. If the match goes ahead glad that Richie is guesting
  10. Big win for Belle Vue Colts can only see us struggling in this one. Would expect the Colts to win by 20+
  11. Well done to the Fen Tigers a very good performance. Not a great day for most of our team, at least JWW had a good meeting. Hope it wont be too expensive a day for TK & Jay.
  12. Depends how well our top two go, both have had very good performances around West Row. If they ride well then we can keep it fairly tight. Mildenhall should have enough to come through to win by 8-12.
  13. Great result for Hackney to pick up a point at Belle Vue, good to see Marc Owen had a good night!
  14. Good win for Buxton . Best wishes to Adam Kirby.
  15. Cheers Vog. Yep unfortunately, I hope he can get something sorted as he is on the cusp of making it as a PL reserve. Tim worked really hard the close season to improve his equipment & to have written it of must be hard to come back from that again after his falls in 2010.
  16. Yep definitely an Aussie. How did Tim look? Hope Ben is ok.

  18. Great win by Kings Lynn. With two outstanding performances by Kerr for the Young Stars & Howarth for the Colts.
  19. I hope you guys do, will be a good reward for the hard work put in this year. Yeah it certainly would. I think 30/31 might be enough. Cheers that's generally all that ever makes it to my signature song lyrics & quotes.
  20. Cheers for the update, pretty much what i expected to happen after a big run of NL matches. Stoke & Scunfield look assured of places, i think Mildenhall will have enough but can see there being a 3 way battle for 4th spot now.
  21. I think it just highlights that the abundance of riders that people claim to be available doesn't exist, those that do are not of sufficient quality to be ready to make the step up into a very competitive league and/or there are to high barriers of entry preventing them from entering & commiting to NL racing (i.e. cost, inability to travel due to age/family commitments/racenights).
