:rofl: FIFTY YEARS of experience this year. :rofl: As regards Ward's Under 21 Titles - if I had meant Under 21 Titles - I would have said that - I didn't - I said WORLD TITLES. Now - how many WORLD TITLES has Ward got - it's easy - you won't need a Calculator.

How about not marketing Speedway as a Sport any more. Market it as 'Sports Entertainment' the same as the WWE. It already has some of the more ridiculous Rules ergo it would make sense to make the change. Neither has any credibility - BUT - at least the WWE is honest as to where it is in the grand scheme of things and - doesn't pretend to be something it isn't. Not - I think - in my case. :sad:

As from last Sunday I have, reluctantly given it up sidney. I will no longer be attending Meetings regularly. I may go now and again, but then again - I may not. :sad: Started: 1964 Finished: 2014. My reasons are too many things wind me up at Speedway these days - most folk on here will know what I am talking about without going in to it all over again. Stupid Rule/Regulations are the only reason. Sad after FIFTY Years. :sad:

I agree with you sidney - but - there is plenty of things I am not happy about in Speedway - and that makes me very sad. :sad: Happiness is 40-38.

What has Ward won when it comes to WORLD Titles? Surely that is the yardstick you need to use when asking us to accept a statement like that. The answer to the question is - NOTHING!!! You even answered the question yourself. Surely saying that they were World Champions (which is something Ward will never be - unless he grows/wises up) you have to accept that currently they are more talented than Ward as they have BOTH won the Championship, one of them more than once. Trouble is orion - you may or may not be right. But being the best run, most financially well off and best supported Club in the WORLD is not much good if everybody else in the League has gone bust. Put simply - you cannot have a League with only ONE Team in it.

The Jury will probably drag their Decision out to November - and then give him a Three Month Ban so that he can be back at the start of next Season. Because of the delay in their Decision he will be able to Ride for the rest of this Season, especially in GPs. That's the time to Ban someone from Speedway - when there is no Speedway. OR - maybe I'm just a cynic.

Excellent, well thought out Post Falcace. I would just make one change to your Plan. I would have only the TOP TWO of the North/South Sections in the Play Off Final. They have won their Section of the League - they DESERVE to be there on their own. Winner to be overall League Champions.

You are, of course, correct. However - as I have pointed out the Premier League did not have the advantage of SKY money. I think we can agree on one thing though, and that is that Speedway is in a mess and needs to be sorted out root and branch.

As far as I know though orion - the Elite League is the ONLY League that has squandered SKY money, paid Riders loads more than they should have done and allowed the League to get in to such a dreadful state. The Elite League is largely in trouble due to it's own fault - THEY had the SKY money which, to an extent, cushioned the effects of the Recession - but they blew it. The Premier League is, I know, riddled with problems too. These are largely down to the Recession and falling Crowd levels. I do not know anything about the Financial state of the National League.

I don't think anyone would argue with that. However - he needs to GROW UP fast.
