  1. I wasn't. Betting in Speedway as envisaged on here WILL bring further Corruption in to the Sport.
  2. Certainly it seems that the return of Speedway to Wimbledon is going to be VERY unlikely - but - never give up hope.
  3. Christer Lofqvist was one of my favourite First Division Riders back in the Seventies. What happened to Christer was truly tragic.
  4. I couldn't agree more. Well said josietoms. :approve: There is enough fiddling in the Sport as it is without introducing something that has corruption for our Sport written all over it.
  5. No Ray - none whatsoever. I am confident that sometime soon I will be trekking off to Manchester to watch Belle Vue in their new Stadium. :approve:
  6. Swindon - so I guess I am wrong. I am still certain that the National Stadium WILL be built though.
  7. Belle Vue I reckon. It's, I believe, further down the Council Track for Planning etc.
  8. I'm NOT in the 'know' as you put it. I do have faith in the Management Team though - and so should everyone else. The Stadium will eventually be built and I am hoping to go to see it.
  9. A very good Post indeed Humphrey. I find nothing in it with which to disagree.
  10. He certainly does. He certainly has put in plenty of his own money. That sort of dedication deserves success.
  11. I very much hope you are wrong - but - I fear you may be right.
  12. Amazing how folk have differing opinions. I love watching Adam ride. :approve:
  13. That is why I don't agree with Gambling in Speedway. Cricket and Football have been adversely effected by Gambling, fixing of Matches, No Balls etc. Why would Speedway be any different when it comes to Match fixing?.
