If anyone is interested - we can assure of a warm North East welcome. A number of Riders have already agreed to attend.

In my opinion both Hancock and Gollob have been great servants of the GPs. They are STILL competitive, and surely that is the main criteria. I think BOTH of them could have at least one more GP win left in the tank. I certainly hope they do anyway - they are still great to watch. The Sport of Speedway will be a lesser Sport when they do eventually retire. :sad:

Why - don't they know? Or - do we read in to it that a massive reorganisation will take place over the Winter with a possible combining of Leagues, Regionalisation etc? IF this is so - then I would have thought that the BSPA would have had the foresight to be planning NOW. The Winter may be too late for SKY and their Schedules.

Are you capable of Posting anything other than nasty one liners. rmc has made a perfectly reasonable and well meaning Post aimed at those, like me, who are uninitiated in to the ways of Commentating. His Post was informative, well thought out, interesting and well worth reading. This is more that can be said of your mealy mouthed nasty comments at just about everyone on here apart from your acolytes. The fact that rmc has to be driven off the Forum by folk like you is an absolute disgrace. .................. and YES - I'm a TROLL!!! I thought I would say it before you did.

Well I think Greg Hancock is a fantastic advertisement for our Sport. I love watching him ride and I enjoy his interviews. To me he epitomizes everything a Speedway Rider ought to be. Approachable, Sporting and shows that he is enjoying himself. LONG MAY HE CONTINUE TO DO SO. :approve:

I will be really sad when BOTH of the stalwarts of our Sport throw in the towel. They have both been great servants to Speedway and I hope that they carry on for a while yet..

If every 'Diamond' rides to his ability I think we have the best all round Team in the Premier League. We may not have the 'out and out' Number One like some Clubs, but what we DO have is strength in depth. To be honest - I am happy with that.

# He seems to be riding much better in the Elite League than he is for Newcastle at present. Could this indicate lack of enthusiasm for the Premier League - or - does he use different Bikes in the Elite League? I can't understand this alarming drop in form by Lindgren (for us). Perhaps George could look at a change in Riding Order. Put Christian Henry with Robbo and Lindgren with Tully - that seemed to work earlier in the Season (Robson and Henry).

With Mr. Osborne announcing even further 'Cuts' in 2015/16 plus the one's that have STILL to take effect I worry desperately for Speedway's survival. As people's disposable income is shrinking, as Wages continue to lag behind Inflation I find it difficult to see anything other than a further drop in Attendances over the coming years. Whether or not reducing Prices would help - today I'm not sure. As long as the General Public are being squeezed and people find it ever more difficult to feed their Families - I believe that Speedway and other types of Entertainment are going to take a BIG hit. I just hope, that when all of this Austerity business is over, that Speedway still exists.
