I really am sorry to say this - but - I believe that Chris Harris should be dropped from the SGP at the end of the Season. He is a GREAT Rider to watch in League Racing, the trouble is that his performances in the SGP are becoming embarassing.
Personally I am tired of WILLING Chris to pass other Riders - it rarely happens. T don't know wheter the problem is Chris, his Bikes or his Team but sadly he is not competative at present.
If Chris is the best we have - and I believe he is - then I can see next year there being no British Representative in the SGP. Perhaps they may give him another chance because he is British. That would not be right as it would be keeping someone out of the SGP who is capable of doing better.
SELECTION BECAUSE OF NATIONALITY IS JUST PLAIN WRONG.
Thank you very much for this. I will give it a go - but maybe not tomorrow. I am hoping to attend the Meeting at Brough Park - Weather permitting - I leave early to collect my pal.
Once again - Many thanks.
Ian
Couldn't agree more - I have them both too.
Where oh where is The '60's'.
I hope to see the '70's' before I shuffle off this mortal coil - it's the one I REALLY want to get my hands on.
Ooops - I was using an OLD Link. The real Site is working fine.
Apologies for Posting this.
Must be my age......................................................................
Anyone know what is going on with this Site? I went on to buy Tickets for tomorrow and it isn't working.
If anyone out there knows anything - please advise.
Thank you.
Ian.
Does it really matter HOW and WHEN he signed? Plymouth have got themselves a great Rider in my opinion. I bet the Plymouth Supporters will just be pleased that he has signed.
Well done to Plymouth - and - Good Luck to them.
Still think, overall PC was the better Rider sidney. I would, only just, pick Peter ahead of Michael every time. If the chips were down - you could usually rely on Peter to come up with the goods.
That what it's all about though. Your opinion is as valid as mine sidney. :)
We are talking about Tom Farndon and others (see above) sixty or seventy years after the event - why not Craven and Collins in twenty/thirty years time?
We still talk about Freddie Williams too. :approve:
I honestly believe that Peter Craven will STILL be talked about in twenty or thirty years - so, I think, will Peter Collins.
THAT is the mark of a true - 'Great'.
