  1. according to green sheets - Harris finished 2024 on 6.22 - with his 5% reduction that's 5.909 I think (not sure if that rounds to 5.91 or 5.90) - gives us a little more wiggle room if he is indeed our no. 6
  2. Very enjoyable (as always). Rob was very good, and shows what a great team manager he is. Definitely made a huge difference this year. Look forward to more podcasts next season...
  3. Don't think most of the teams on here are far away. Klindt, Iversen and Kvech are pretty much nailed on I'd say. If we can get a decent no. 1 then Rowe could slot in at 6, if we can't then I think that unfortunately means we have to go strength in depth and get 6 pointer at reserve. That's really unlucky for Rowe as he has been one of our shining stars this season
  4. As our season has finished early yet again, maybe Buster should reintroduce the Pride Of The East in early October after the play offs have finished. Might get a good selection of riders and could even consider a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon to get a decent crowd before the long winter nights...
  5. And you don't have to have overtaking to be a good race. (Rowe riding a perfect line in heat 10 to beat masters) Close racing and not too strung out in most heats and a close scoreline throughout. Dunno what it looked like on TV, but trackside, was a great match to finish on.... although slower due to TV cameras and number of restarts
  6. Harris and Blodorn will have to ride better than their last appearances at the Norfolk Arena, otherwise it's gonna be a very long night, even more drawn out than the usual Eurosport shows.... One wonders if they have been chosen to ensure leicester pick up the full 5 points and win by more than 15 to finish top..... would have preferred Lawson to guest and Harris or Blodorn cover the vacant leicester no. 2 position. Its british speedway, so don't see why not - must be in the rules somewhere...
  7. I thought that was where the 2 minute clock had gone..
  8. Was definitely yet another good meeting. Heat 15 was excellent. Niels has to be in with a shout of rider of the season. I doubted his inclusion at the start of the season but he's been worth his weight in gold. Anders deserved another ride as well I thought. A top 5 next season of lawson, Basso, kvech, klindt and iversen would be a match for most teams. If Robert was available, not sure which one I'd swap out. Add on Anders on his 25% reduction, plus an RS, we'd be sorted..
  9. That looks pretty solid to me if it fits with points limit and would be a good way to go. More flexibility in terms replacements for injuries and the like. Would be shame to have to jettison Anders though...suspect Sheffield would snap him up after hearing stead talk about him
  10. Hearing rumours of no NKI or Kvech on Wednesday.....Lawson and Harris guesting, but that still leaves us short of two riders for 'KL Select'
  11. We thought it should be Wright too. It's that German effect.... As it turned out, Riss put in a decent ride
  12. To be fair to Lambert he did seem fairly quick tonight and thought he probably deserved more than the couple of points he got. Shame the bonus point slipped away at the end. The fall that Harris had seem to effect his gating. In his two races after that he jumped out in front. Most uncharacteristic! Decent match all-round with some good racing. Bit dragged out though with a couple of restarts and delays for lots of two on the trots
  13. Could still go either way, but with these injured riders p1ssing UK speedway about its not good. I'll give NKI the benefit of the doubt but surely they could have found a half decent guest rather than relying on good old Simon (no disrespect, but he won't score as well as Niels)
  14. As only one guest announced, presume it will be rr for basso
  15. Blodorn again on Monday at Brum. Think Rob mentioned it in his interview after last night's match
  16. Beginning to wonder if we will even finish our fixtures and pull out of the league. Getting farcical now. And before anyone asks, that's just my thought based on zero knowledge. Or Simon Lambert will be signed as a replacement.... Massive, massive shame. When we signed Kvech and Klindt was still fit we had play offs in sight and dreaming of first top flight winners medal....
  17. Why does someone always ask this on every thread where a meeting is shown on eurosport? Gets a bit boring after a while. We know it affects attendance....
  18. Look what Kerr and Wright scored for Musilak and Klindt .......
  19. First and foremost I'm glad Emil got away with that one, could have been so much worse. I have only seen the clip from that heat so far, but for me Emil was stuck on the high line and Jack didn't leave him any racing room whatsoever to try and turn and avoid the crash. He was just a passenger once he'd entered the 3rd bend. The track wouldn't have helped, but don't think a smooth track would have made any difference
  20. Me too. Busters fault I assume? Everything else seems to be his fault....
  21. Surely can't be hard to plug in a new clock, even if operated manually from centre grey
  22. NK in original post will be Klindt not Iversen. So Thursdays team would be Iversen, Wojdylo, Rowe plus guests, one of which appears to be Wright
