  1. Absolutely... and the amount of water they chuck on the track every 4 heats in some if the gp's. would constitute a rain off in a league match
  2. This call off does more plausible than the previous one. Problem is, we've had our fingers burnt too many times with wet tracks and Buster attempting to get raceable when we've been in the stadium...the riders, understandably (with today's bikes) just aren't interested.... similar to recent foxhall call off....
  3. Being a stars fan, I'm getting used to early dodgy call offs..... Ipswich have announced teams and have Simon Lambert in place of bangs, so nothing to worry about there..... Can only assume in coming team change soon ?
  4. If Belle Vue gate on a 5-1 that mysterious red light will come on again....
  5. With the low 37 point limit at start of season, most riders and teams will increase almost straight away. Does a different limit apply mid season, otherwise even a poorly performing team will be stuck with like for like changes..?
  6. And those sulking Holders both gave up as they entered bend 3 for the last time🤣 Would have been even more funny if one of the stars boys had an engine failure as they wouldn't have been close enough to capitalise
  7. Good to get the season underway today. Just a shame there is now a break before the season starts for real. Ought to put on a challenge match in the meantime... maybe get a Swedish or Polish team over... something a little different that will appeal to the fans
  8. I do wish they'd consider a season ticket that doesn't quite cover all the matches....I'd more than happily buy one this season if it was for 10 of 12 regular cup and league meetings perhaps for the price of 9 - I can rarely get to all the meetings in a season but if it allowed me to miss a couple I'd buy one!
  9. If only this was about speedway.... https://www.norfolk.gov.uk/article/76381/Government-funding-commitment-secured-for-21m-Kings-Lynn-STARS-project?utm_campaign=4274725_News update from Norfolk County Council&utm_medium=email&utm_source=GOSS Interactive Limited on behalf of Norfolk County Council&dm_i=7MO4,2JMED,1HX59G,5JPK8,1,0,0,0
  10. Sam Ermolenko makes Richie Hawkins look like a good TM ..
  11. Interesting! Could that have happened when they built the kings lynn bypass in the first half of the seventies....?
  12. Should be well within his capability - most teams will have one top rider rather than two and be weaker down the order. Even without a massive step up, he'll be up around 8 average
  13. Congrats to Bomber for finishing 2nd in World Long Track championship
  14. Dunno, only ever watched stocks once, bored me to tears
  15. At least we've finished all our matches by the required date....
  16. Noooo ... if you don't make playoffs your season is potentially over by mid August. Its short enough already.
  17. Great meeting to finish off the season, topped off with 5-4 to get the aggregate point. Frustrating that that's it for another season, and another year of what could have been... Roll on 2026 and if we keep our top 6 and can get good RS we ought to be in the mix again. Or a genuine no. 1 becomes available.. Luke is definitely one for the future, but maybe another year in championship and he'll be ready for PL. Always on the pace and never gives up
  18. I was there and that is exactly the impression he gave in heat 13 and 15. Compared to his earlier rides when he steamed up the inside of Lawson. Unless Bewley had knackered his bike when he borrowed it...
  19. Me! And there was still (slim) hope at that point. Comes with the territory of being a Kings Lynn fan.... !!!
  20. Delivering newspapers as a kid a sliding round pavement corners whilst braking and singing there was only one michael lee. My dad wasn't best pleased when I wore my tyre out! And those bank holidays double headers, 11am at Saddlebow Road then all pile down to foxhall for the return in the afternoon. Happy days...
  21. No. They've changed it again thank god, although they park you at the back facing the rear exit, you can simply turn round in the car park and exit the way you came in.
