So if Cam is ruled out of the play-offs we should go with RR for him and get a guest for Justin, as Justin drops to fifth in the averages on 6.17. Going with RR for Cam allows Rory to have an extra ride. Looking at the averages two riders stick out as potential guests Jake Allen 6.08 or David Howe 6.17. Other options are Ryan Douglas on 6.08 or Bradley Wilson-Dean on 6.00 but not sure how fit he is at the moment. IMO one of the first two would do a decent job. Cam should only come back if he is fully fit as we can't afford to carry riders if we are using RR.

They add 5% onto the riders average when using a guest at home, but not away. Cam's average is 6.93 but at home they can use a guest up to 7.28. Lewis' average is 6.95 so they wouldn't be able to use him away as his average is more than Cam's. -

Yes, they don't want to see the home team lose !!! -
Go back to 6 rider teams & 16 heats. That's 18 less riders needed.

If as he states that his shoulder hasn't been right since the early season crashes why didn't he get it sorted earlier. Why has it only been brought up in the last week if it has been going on for so long. As proved on Thursday he is a danger to the other riders as he can't handle a speedway bike at the moment and shouldn't be riding. -

The rerun of heat 1 was a bigger jump than the original start. We were all surprised it wasn't stopped and Bomber Excluded. Have to agree that it did seem to be the rider in white jumping all the time. Surprised more weren't called back. -

After the meeting last night Danny did a few laps on Sedgmen's bike and it didn't look fast and sounded a bit flat. If Sedgmen can't handle riding the outside line with his shoulder he shouldn't ride at all as he is a danger to the other riders. We can't afford to carry him in the playoff as it is an existing injury if he pulls out during a meeting we won't get the injury rider replacement option. I would rather go RR as both reserves are doing a decent job at the moment. As I've said before if they are beating the oppositions reserves they are doing their job. Connor is improving and looks a lot more smoother in his riding & Nathan never gives up which is all that the fans want from their team. -
The only good thing out of this is Peterborough won't win the fours tomorrow. If Ged has taken a payment from Torun, it proves he is only thinking about his own pocket and if he is still promoter at Peterborough next year the fours should be moved to another track who's promoter cares about these shared events. What he has done has already affected the crowd level by what some fans comments on this forum are saying, which affects the payments to all the other clubs in the Championship and he is getting reimbursed by the Poles.

After we lost Kyle in heat 1 I thought we would struggle to win, but credit to the rest of the team they battled to secure the win and stop Glasgow taking anything from the meeting. Both reserves done their job again, as long as they beat their fellow reserves to me they are doing their job. Thought Nathan should've got MOTM. Lets hope Kyle isn't out for too long as he was one of our form riders at the moment. Off to Peterborough Sunday, can't see us winning it but who knows after Plymouth's win last year, as long as Peterborough don't win it. -

Agree Sedgmen should be moved to number 2. Not looking forward to this meeting with what's gone on, we could get absolutely smashed. Lets hope not as we can't afford anymore dropped points at home after last week. -
But you can change 1 rider like for like, but not 2 how is that simple. You build your team average up and have to lower it to bring two riders in, only in speedway.
-
Maybe it was Wilkinson & Jacobs 5.12 & 4.67 = 9.79 Sedgmen 6.69 & Mountain 3.18 = 9.87 As I said why you can't replace riders up to the averages of the riders being replaced doesn't make sense, but why make the rules simple.
-
What a complete balls up, you would think they would've had the changes ratified before telling the riders they were being released. Well this can go two ways, team spirit will be non existant or the two riders concerned start putting the points on the board. I think Conner was maybe down to the numbers game but if they thought they could replace 2 riders with another 2 up to the same combined averages, they should know the rules. I don't know why you shouldn't be able to but this is speedway.

Vissing & Hansen won't fit.
-
When it's states from 8pm, we could be waiting a while.
-
Whoever we bring in will they be able to ride in the fours at Peterborough?
-
All scoring well - Pijper?
-
As you like him so much Scotsman you could always have him back at Edinburgh or hasn't he lowered his average enough yet.

I'm not blaming the tactical rule, I just don't like it like a lot of fans. They should bring back the old tactical sub rule as long as a rider has three rides and you can use it when you are six or more down. Edinburgh used the rules that are in place like any team would and got an advantage so credit to them. -

Curse of the poster strikes again after I stated we shouldn't get beaten at home, and lo and behold our next match we lose. The team threw that match away, only Cam & Kyle came out of that meeting with any credit. In our group where we sit we have always said that they should never have an interval as the team is never the same after it and they seem to lose momentum. Hopefully it was just a kick up the arse they need as next week with be tougher and we can't afford any more slip ups at home. Congrats to Edinburgh with a little help from the poxy tactical rule which most fans hate, and the inept performance of the ref. (Consistency lacking re the starts). She also should've excluded Erik Riss from the rerun of heat 13 for exceeding 2 mins, (it was the longest less than a minute going when his foot rest came adrift). -

We have been crying out for a team to challenge for the league since we dropped down to the second tier, now we have one some fans are crying out that they are not being entertained. Some are never happy. With this team at home I can't see anyone beating us unless we lose some riders during a meeting. Teams seem to come to Ipswich already beaten and it shows in their attitude & riding. It takes two teams to make an entertaining match and we have only had a couple of teams who have come with the right attitude and put up a fight. You can't blame the promotion for this as Chris has changed the track for the past two seasons. It's up to the individual if they don't want to come to a meeting, but lets get behind this team and push them on to hopefully some silverware at the end of the season.- 125 replies

Noticed that Kevin Jolly came over before the rerun of heat 2 to give Connor some advice to where he should be riding on the bends and it seemed to work as he looked a lot smoother through the bends. Connor always seemed to struggle at the start of the meeting and get better as the meeting went on, but he looked good throughout the meeting last night. Both reserves are holding their own now which is good to see. -
Who is actually riding for Sheffield to replace Howarth as received my program yesterday and I'm sure it had Todd Kurtz in it.
