  1. They usually stop by 10pm. There are junior riders going round so there is nothing to stop the main team riders.
  2. With the restrictions of stadium use the only testing they can do is after the meetings, which is why it's strange none of them seem to bother and very poor attitude IMO. They should be at least showing us they are trying to sort things out instead of packing up their vans and going home.
  3. I would like to see the whole team out there making use of the track time after a meeting, seeing as we seem to have a meeting every two weeks.
  4. I think you may be right Baldy re: Pugwash. IMO the only reason Danny was in heat 15 was because he can gate and on that track you needed to. Maybe that's the reason they didn't put Sarj off 15m in heat 8.
  5. How many more times are we going to lose a 1-5 in the reserves race it puts us on the back foot from the start. You say that there was only 1 point between the reserves but three of them was in heat 8 when Glasgow only had one rider finish. Paco really needs to learn to ride wider as when he is off gates 3 or 4 he lets the other riders enter the turn first and then cuts onto the white line at the back. He needs to be more aggressive as well and stop shutting off half way down the straights. The track was back to normal tonight, nothing like Saturdays. Congrats to Glasgow and especially Richie Worrall who was a class above tonight. We really should've retained him last season, don't know why Chris didn't but every time he comes back he rides well. This season is a write off already, can't see us getting any more points from the three away meetings before we're back at home in two weeks time. How was the new vantage point Baldyman?
  6. None of the Bjerre's are big
  7. He has just signed for Wolves so would he want to double down?
  8. Ipswich team total is 41.35 at the moment so Barker would fit as he would bring our total to 42.46 by replacing Lewis.
  9. September should be fine, there won't be any fixtures at this rate.
  10. I wouldn't mind Linus Sundstrom back.
  11. What a farce this season is turning into, just forget about the rulebook with the NL number 7 supposedly protected all year and now we have a Czech there. How is this helping the Brits.
  12. Hopefully see the return of Jarek Hampel then.
  13. I have been this year at Foxhall, we are certainly not getting value for money.
  14. Have to admit that Peterborough certainly gave us a gating lesson in the first 10 heats when there were no passing. Yes the track is the smoothest I've seen it but it is also the slickest. Not sour grapes but I was bored of the gate and go up to the interval. Even Danny said when interviewed that the outside line wasn't working. You could see that as when Hansen missed the gate try all he wanted on the outside he couldn't pass Paco who was white lining. The last few heats were good but very dusty as you can't water a slick track. Thought Nico was unlucky in heat 13 when his bike seemed to lose power starting the last lap and then lucky as Danny & Oystercard managed to miss his slowing bike entering turn 1. The kick from Oystercard towards Nico in heat 15 certainly seemed to fire Nico up, certainly still no love lost between those two after the fours last year. Ipswich were poor again and now drastic changes need to be made or we are in for a very early finish to the season. In my opinion Kerr, Sarjeant and both reserves are just not up to it. The trouble is where are the riders to replace these.
  15. I think you just hit the Bullseye.
  16. If only we could Look Through The Keyhole to find a solution to our performances it would be Child's Play.
  17. If we carry on like this we will soon have a clean (supermarket) sweep. Macca maybe you could tweet some more celebs to play celebrity squares.
  18. It's like the group of fans are going from fifteen to one with the sparse crowds. Soon it will cross the tipping point.
  19. I would rather that Wolbert won the rerun of heat 10 as you wouldn't have got to use the mickey mouse tactical ride two heats later as you would only have been 8 down, so you got the rub of the green in that heat. Bewley exclusion was not soft he totally knocked Ollie off and then crashed himself. Fish took Nico off in 13 always all four back. As stated before looked like Danny laid it down but rather that than smash into fence.
  20. We all expected heat 2 to be stopped second time around and Clegg excluded as he already had a warning, the same as heat 15 we expected it to be rerun. The ref was poor all night so the flyers equalled out. I thought at the time that Danny laid it down in the first running of heat 15 but if Fisher rode the track instead of the other riders and left some racing room Danny wouldn't have had to. Fisher is such a dirty rider and is going to seriously hurt someone if he carries on with this type of riding. John Campbell was not very bitter in his report stating most teams will win here. We have won 3 out of 5 at home even with the team misfiring.
  21. I think we were as bad as the referee tonight, what a joke he was. Took three attempts to get the correct exclusion light in heat 2. At least he was consistent with the flyers, after warning Clegg in heat two he let him get away with the same start in the rerun, maybe why he let Danny get away in heat 15 to make up for it. Lucky for the Witches that Riss was missing as only 1 point scored from his rides, sure he would've scored more. I think we saw tonight a rider who even Peter Karger could beat in Jye Etheridge. With the top Aussies skipping the Aussie Championships we get riders like this with Visas who just aren't up to the task.
  22. That's where you have been going wrong Baldy, you should use a hammer . Can't see this change doing much to be honest, it's the top five that need to pull their fingers out, even Morten who has been pretty consistent but should be a 8+ rider in this league. With Oliver Greenwood two of the next three meetings are away to Peterborough, his old team so he should do alright there and people will expect it every meeting. Time will tell and good luck to him as he needs to make the breakthrough into PL racing.
  23. It's like the Ipswich track no dirt on it. The only rider who could seem to be able to pass was Lykke but then again Danes do like slick tracks. When the likes of Covatti & King can't make any ground up on the likes of Lanham it just sums it up. Anyway good luck to the Rockets in the next round, a match made in hell for you Shads. The meeting started off bad for the Witches, can't believe they forgot to put Sarj's dirt deflector on and just got worse. Definitely a night to forget for Sarj. Morten kept up his consistent start to the season and Danyon didn't disgrace himself, but the rest just too inconsistent again. Good to meet Baldyman & Pob and we all agree changes need to be made but probably won't be, but we'll keep going as we love our speedway. I think you will find that Sarj's bike was slowing and looked like it blew up which caused his crash which is why Ben went past.
  24. I'll come and meet you at the interval by the refs box. I thought our track was bad!!!
