I went to Sam Ermolenko's Farewell meeting at Wolverhampton on 18th March 2007 and it had a delay while we had heavy snow, now that was cold.

On the official teams for 2016 thread it's stated that Kerr & Sarjeant both get a reduction. Kerr is 6.85 & Sarjeant 4.88 so our team total is 42.01. We could've still used Lewis Rose instead of Castagna as his 3.84 ave would be due a reduction down to 3.74 which would put our total to 42.42. I suppose it has to do with doubling up as we would have four in the team and if we clashed with a Coventry v King's Lynn match we would lose all four, but that's something the fixture compilers could sort out.
-
They could have put Lewis Rose instead of Castagna then as his 3.84 average would've had a reduction also.
-
Well that team adds up to 42.31. I don't know if any gets reductions. A better top five than the supposed line up, but unknown how the reserves will fair.. I suppose Paco will get better the more laps he does round Foxhall as he didn't look good at the 16 lapper. How well the team does depends on how Lewis returns from injury & Morten returns from a year away. Also how much disruption with clashes of fixtures with King, Kerr & Sarjeant. You know we will have the longest match threads now with people commenting on Sarjeant's perfect starts. As I sit right on the start line in the home straight I should have a good view of this! Feel sorry for Ashley Morris as I think he did enough in his short spell last season to deserve a place this season.
-
What a shocking team, would finish bottom of the league. James Wright is now a poor reserve at best, no thank you.
-
Doesn't he need a 7 point ave to get a visa?
-
Well if it is Simon Nielsen that means the team you named above is wrong as he is a dane which would rule Morten out as you said one dane. Hopefully this is right and we get Richie Worrall instead of Morten to get the brits in the line-up back to five.
-
Klindt's average is 5.89. Should be able to up that.
-
Well, Peterborough & Sheffield made it into the playoffs with using guests most of the season so it does work. If the team is correct and Stefan doubles up we could have 4 riders missing a meeting at the same time. The fixture compilers have got a job on their hands.
-
1 Danny King 9.54 2 Emil Grondal 5.12 (Swap Loan with Tungate going to Peterborough) 3 Richie Worrall 6.84 4 Nicolaj Klindt 5.89 5 Nico Covatti 7.55 6 Adam Ellis 4.67 (4.55 with reduction) 7 Zach Waijnecht 3.00 Total 42.49 I think this line-up has potential to improve their starting averages and challenge for the title.

I heard Kennett's name being mention at the last couple of witches meetings as he doesn't want to carry the Rye House team again next season if it is like the last two seasons.
-
So will the Edinburgh & Glasgow promoters be at this AGM as they will be surely be at the play-off final meetings at their respective clubs.
-
He's always struggled at Ipswich in the five meetings he has done there, never scored more than 6 points excluding bonus points. Doesn't seem to have any throttle control there. Maybe he has to learn to ride tracks like this.
-
Peterborough here he comes then if he wants a bigger track.
-
Maybe the riders could ride for free to pay for the new air fence with just travel expenses paid. Should get a good crowd with that line up. I made the evening star twice!!!, as I live in Essex and can't get the Star what did they quote from me?
-
I agree it will be a very tight meeting, out of the teams only Ipswich has won at Redcar this year, only by 2 points with Somerset losing by 3, Edinburgh by 4 and Newcastle by 7. It's just a shame that there probably won't be much of a crowd there to witness it. I was looking forward to going but midweek is a no-go. I'll just get the DVD and watch that.
-
Have to agree with MrMungo on this, it was our home form that cost us a place in the play-offs. Out of the play-off qualifiers Edinburgh, Somerset, Glasgow & Plymouth lost 6 points at home. Sheffield only lost 5. Yes, Peterborough lost 12 and we lost 13. Away from home we scored 19 points, more than Plymouth 13 and Sheffield 18 the two teams just above us, so it's the lost points at home which ultimately cost us.
-
Might not be as cold this year seeing as it's being staged a month earlier than usual.
-
Was looking forward to going to this on a weekend, but midweek is a no go.
-
You will probably find it won't have any riders in the play-offs as clubs probably won't let their riders in it, especially after what happened to Ostergaard at Redcar. Agree Baldy it could be used to look towards the future, but they could use the Star of Anglia for that.
-
If you want top heavy. Danny King 9.39 Nike Lunna 4.15 Nico Covatti 7.55 Haertel/Huckenbeck 5.00 Edward Kennett 9.29 Ashley Morris 4.04 Zack Wajknecht 3.00 Should retain the pairs and have a good go at the fours.
-
This is the Ipswich thread not the Plymouth thread. Think you'll find that we signed Ashley after Plymouth got rid.

Off subject are the meetings filmed at Glasgow this year? If so can anybody give me details to their website. Many Thanks.
