Who Is The Best Pl Number One Ever?
Bash replied to Robinh88's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Mark Loram, Andy Galvin, Steve Schofield -
How about Danny King 8.84 Richie Worrall 7.32 Thomas Jorgensen 7.09 Gino Manzares 6.02 Cameron Heeps 5.38 Adam Ellis 4.67 Oliver Greenwood 3.12 Total 42.44 Or a bit more top heavy Danny King 8.84 Rohan Tungate 8.36 Rasmus Jensen 6.14 Gino Manzares 6.02 Cameron Heeps 5.38 Adam Ellis 4.67 James Sarjeant 3.00 Total 42.41

Maybe we could bring in a slightly higher average than Rohan's as TheScotsman says and find a 3 pointer like Edinburgh did with Steve Worrall this year. Do play-off matches and koc count towards averages as if they do I would imagine Rohan's average would've gone down so he might not be over eight to finish the season.

Can't see the points limit changing but you are going to have to shed a couple of big average riders to get below limit. I think everyone will be looking for the 2015 Steve Worrall, starting on a 3 and finishing over 7.

Don't think it will be much of a spectacle tonight, should be a easy win for the Monarchs with the Witches demoralised after last night dire performance. Shame the Witches didn't put up more of a show last night to at least make the second leg interesting, but I think this will be as one sided as last night. Maybe Ritchie Hawkins will top score for the Witches

Maybe we should go along the lines of:- Sam Masters 8.22 Cam Heeps 5.38 Justin Sedgmen 7.27 Gino Manzares 6.02 Richie Worrall 7.32 Ritchie Hawkins 5.27 James Sarjeant 3.00 42.48 or Danny King 8.84 Cam Heeps 5.38 Taylor Poole 6.05 Gino Manzares 6.02 Richie Worrall 7.32 Adam Ellis 4.67 Nico Covatti 4.21 42.49 Alternatively bring in some fresh blood like Max Ruml, Michael Haertel or a young Aussie.

What a dire performance that was last night. Was saying before the meeting started that we had to take advantage in the reserve department as that is Edinburgh's weakness but didn't expect the two reserves and Cam to be the only ones to turn up! Richie W was unlucky with bike problems and a dodgy exclusion, Gino should never have started the meeting, too many knocks in recent weeks taking their toll. Morten wasn't even at the races and I feel needs to look elsewhere for next season (Louis' future son-in-law or not). Rohan had one good race, not good enough for a number 1. Oh well at least Edinburgh won't have very far to move the trophy after tonight's parade. On the subject of the jump starts how can you say that Cookie never moved all night when he had to turn his front wheel sideways to avoid hitting the tapes in heat 11. Apart from that and Sedgmen moving in heat 1 the Monarchs were just quicker out of the starts even with Cookie on his "Polish 600", sounds so much different to anybody else's.

It will be interesting to find out who this other unknown rider that Chris Louis had a choice between him and Gino at the start of the season.

We did manage to get a draw last season and that was with Jari Makinnen in the team. Earlier this season we lost by 20 but that was when Richie W and Cam were out of form, Adam was riding for lakeside so we had Max Clegg as a guest. We have a chance tonight and could be a tight meeting. A lot depends on which Gino turns up as he was struggling with his bikes last night as his best are probably in Czecho for the u-21 world championship. Maybe Chris could lend him one of his rocketships.

It could be worse you could end up like Ipswich last season, by the time we got knocked out of the play-offs and were in the KOC final we finished with 3 of our 7 riders. Adam Ellis & Rohan Tungate got injured in the play-offs and Ben Barker & Leigh Lanham got injured in the KOC final. What a damp squib that turned out to be.

I think Chris Gay should pay for the repair of the burnt out clutches, such a lovely smell. Why does he feel he has to hold the tapes for so long. Another meeting which dragged on because of his incompetence, and again he forgets to put the green light on and just lets the tapes go like he did the last meeting he refereed at Ipswich. When Auty fell in the last race when he lost his steel shoe the green lights came on and then he changed it to the red lights. Felt sorry for Richie as he was on for a paid max but sods law kicked in in the rerun and he only came third. Whole team perform well apart from poor G-Man who is counting the cost for a blown engine and his second bike didn't look set up for a small track and he was struggling to ride it. I think this group will come down to the results at Scunthorpe so hopefully Klindt will be back tomorrow at home and Scunthorpe win.

That's what should happen in the southern group. One of the teams should be made to go to Ipswich Thursday as these playoffs have been know when they are taking place at the start of the season. With this group not now finishing until the 10th October, if there are any rain offs the final will be pushed to the final week of the season again.
-
Obviously Somerset didn't want to face us away when we still have Cam at reserve as I would imagine that he will switch with Ritchie Hawkins when they visit Foxhall on the 2ND October. I reckon this group could come down to points difference and home results could be crucial. If they weren't going to start the playoffs straight away what was the point of a cut off date. It could've been a week later.

What is going on at Peterborough, Ales Dryml has now quit the club with immediate effect due to his back injury. Something doesn't seem right at the club.

Plymouth Vs Panthers - 12th September
Bash replied to LagutaRacingFan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Gino is guesting for Richard Hall, and it is R/R for Ales Dryml who has retired from British Speedway with immediate effect due to his back injury. All is not well at Peterborough with riders quitting in the last week. -
Get rid of the extra fixtures and ride home and away once and fit in a 4TT Qualifying meeting at every track.

With no tactical rides allowed in this meeting I'll go for a 57-33 home win.
