  1. Good Friday is a nightmare friday as with all the young brits riding for elite league teams, guests are going to have to come from what is left of the national league riders. I think there may be a lot of RR riding that day!
  2. Yes it was, as I was told by a couple of our riders at Rye House the meeting before the changes took effect.
  3. Well we've got the number 1 a lot of us fans wanted. Great news, any idea when there will be more announcements concerning the rest of the team? I just hope Chris gets shot of Morten as we don't need a repeat of this season when he got too big for his balls and we lost all our team spirit at the wrong stage of the season.
  4. Alright then swap Eklof for Hugh Skidmore who goes well around Foxhall.
  5. Come on then Johnny what team would you put up? Just because Eklof didn't do it for your favourite team KL ( ), in the premier league he should do alright.
  6. How about the following team. Richie Worrall 8.64 Anders Mellgren 7.33 Rohan Tungate 7.05 Cameron Heeps 6.74 Linus Eklof 5.76 Ritchie Hawkins 3.96 Steve Worrall 3.00 Total 42.48 Find it strange that Rye have left Mellgren out of their line up, would be worth a punt.
  7. I didn't even realise he rode for Redcar, thought when he left Newcastle he just rode National League. Makes it a no-brainer on that average to put him in the team. I reckon a lot of clubs will be after him.
  8. That's the last average I could find for him on the official green sheets, but who knows as they don't put all the riders on them who have ridden. With the rolling averages sometimes a string of noughts doesn't make a difference.
  9. Shame, not bad line ups but Steve Worrall's average is 4.24.
  10. Maybe they could talk Justin Sedgmen to come back on 4.99, or Lewis Blackbird on 4.93.
  11. But Peterborough aren't declared in any league yet, so If Sheffield & Glasgow don't run this would leave 10 teams the same as the elite league. Therefore you could scrap the play-offs and run home and away twice and still have the koc and league cup competitions.
  12. Talk is he will be riding for Swindon which would rule him out as fellow Thursday night track.
  13. And so our resident troll returns after his long sabbatical as there was only one person who referred to trophies as egg cups! Morten caused a lot of friction in the pits last season when he got too big for his boots as that is the reason we should get shot.
  14. Well now we know the points limit I wouldn't mind the following team line up:- 1. Richie Worrall 8.64 2. Matt Tresarrieu 5.84 3. Cameron Heeps 6.74 4. Taylor Poole 5.99 5. Rohan Tungate 7.05 6. Adam Ellis 4.25 7. Ritchie Hawkins 3.96 Total 42.47 I know its not likely as I'm sure that Lanham & Risager will be in the team
  15. As I stated in the other thread they are heavy when it is lying ontop of you! Anyway on to tonights meeting you should get 60 against the Ipswich select team tonight. The Ipswich riders left looked like they were going through the motions last night, not surprising after what happened last weekend. Hope you get a better crowd than last night!
  16. Concerning Hawkins fall in heat 2 the bike was on top of him so it would've been a struggle to get off the track in time. Risager always buzzes around the back wheels of the opposition in front of him but never looks like he is going to get passed them. Congrats to Cookie on another max, but did he really need to try to force himself past Sneddon off the last bend. Well done to Derek for blocking him, Cookie only thinking of himself again . Thought Chris Gay was at fault for a lot of the starts tonight, holding the tapes for far too long when the riders were perfectly still, the smell of burning clutches at the start line was fowl. Also when Rene was put back 15m, Chris Gay must have slipped on the button as the tapes went up so fast that Rene wasn't even in position to start the race!
  17. Must be the heavy rain that hit Colchester at 1.30, and still heavy rain now at 3. Can't see it being on but with Foxhall who knows!
  18. I think the Workington management should get on the phone to Chris now and insist that they ride Thursday and agree to pay their wages too!!!
  19. Congrats to Newcastle, but I'm sure you would rather it was won against a full Ipswich team. Shame it ruined what could have been a classic.
  20. Looks like you Comets have to rely on us to get a result against Edinburgh at Ipswich Thursday. I wouldn't hold your breath as they are meaningless meetings for Ipswich now as they can't qualify. Also if we don't win the league cup tomorrow they will be even more deflated. Time for Morten to say goodbye to Ipswich as I wouldn't have him in the team next season. We were doing fine until he caused a rift in the camp and forced them to put him at five because he thought he was "Billy Big Balls". The same fate should fall on him as happened with Dakota North last season, don't come back.
  21. Well if Ipswich can't win this on aggregate with a twelve point lead and two tactical rides then they don't deserve to win it.
  22. The meetings that are re-arranged first take priority.
  23. As long as the premier league matches are already finalised it won't matter about rain affected elite league as original fixtures take priority over rearranged fixtures.
