You can't guarantee anything in speedway as it is a dangerous sport. Who would know if this team would win the league as injuries, loss of form all come into play. So you can't say without doubt. Every team is put together with the intention of winning the league, but only one can and luck has a big part to play in that! Now come on Dave, Aljack has already stated that Ashworth is not a genuine no. 1 even tho' he currently has an average of 9.07, and is one of only four above 9pts!!! The others being Screen, Gjedde & Barker.

I was only going by the averages 2ndbendbeerhut put up. Will be interesting to see who they put at number 2 as it's going to be hard for Taylor coming back at number 1 after missing so much of the season.

Rohan will be number 1 on his 6.98 average compared to Taylor who's average is 6.90.

When I said desperate for heat wins, I meant when they have got out in front, although that hasn't happened much lately, they don't look for their team-mate and just bugger off into the distance instead of team riding. This suggests there isn't much team spirit at the moment and they are riding as individuals, not as a team.

Okay, alter-ego of Aljack, seeing as you have been a fan for exactly the same amount of years! Pull the other one Aljack! I agree a look at riding order needs to be looked at, putting Kevin at 5 makes sense and he is supposed to be a team man and can help team ride the reserves home, but at he moment even that seems to have disappeared and they just leave their team mates lagging as they're desperate just to get a race win!

Another reason could be due to an airfence being in place. This may make riders take more risks and therefore over ride to cause falls.

Mr Snackette, I think you took my comment in the wrong context, I was pleased with third and the 4tt last season. I was replying to semion who's team only finished tied third in the NsEL and won no silverware.

Finishing third with no silverware is really something to shout about!!!

This is the same person who delayed the meeting at Ipswich for 20 minutes claiming that Jerran Hart was using an illegal silencer (which he wasn't) why he couldn't wait till after the meeting who knows! I think he only did this because Jerran scored a shedload when guesting at Scunny for the opposition.
