Edinburgh V Ipswich Pl 7/9/12
Bash replied to dontforgetthefueltapsbruv's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
You just haven't got a positive bone in your body, I'm sure you walk around with one of them boards around your next which state the world will end tomorrow. Even you said you were happy with the team before the season started. Injuries at the first meeting wrecked our season!!!!! Anyway back to tonights meeting, this will probably be another tight affair, a hard one to call as it has so much riding on it for both teams. Hope the witches get the result they need to keep the play-offs alive! -
A good result for the Witches to claim all three points. Thought Pete made a mistake by not replacing Stefan with Matt in heat 12. No disrespect to the way Stefan rode but with the match points in the balance and the way Taylor had ridden up to that point, it could have cost us the extra point for a seven point win. The other thing is that Matt would've been of the same gate he was off in the previous heat.

There's a lot of bites by the carp today!!!

He's just building an extension as you know the song goes "I am a troll and I live in a hole!!!!"

Rye House V Ipswich (pl)... 1st September @ 6pm
Bash replied to Shadders's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Maybe the mods have finally banned him as he's not commented once on this thread! -
Do you really expect an answer to that Jules from someone who's not a genuine Ipswich fan, as I've never known someone to take as much glee out of their own team losing!!!
-
It's gone quiet on here everyone must be on holiday like all the Edinburgh riders!!!!
-
Dave Jessup, Michael Lee, Malcolm Simmons, John Louis (on bike), John Berry, Gordon Kennett, Peter Collins & Terry Betts

Because if you bother to check the fixture list there are two elite league meetings and Jason Lyons farewell meeting taking place that night which take alot of the elite league riders out of the equation, plus with the gp two days later riders probably won't want the extra meeting so close. If you're not happy don't bother going!!! You say John Berry was the greatest promoter, well stop disrepecting him by slagging off the meeting put on in honour of him!!
-
That about sums you up. They put a tribute meeting on for John Berry and that's all you come up with. If you read the article on the official site you'll know why it's Rye House.
-
Looks like we have some speedway next week as Mike Bacon just tweeted "Witches staging John Berry Tribute Meeting next Thur Aug 23 at Foxhall v Rye House, 13 heats + full 2nd half. More details follow." Also looks like Kevin Doolan riding for Rye House!!!
-
My apologies, so he did and I was there unlike some people, it's been a long season
-
Because we have already raced against those two teams this season as they were brought forward.
-
Could also have the Star Of Anglia.

Top 10 Riders On Current Form
Bash replied to barrow boy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Again it would be more interesting if you could include their averages aswell, as you must do them to get your list correct. -
Maybe we should try Stefan Nielsen, Kyle Hughes or Ben Morley as the latter two have premier league experience. Only as temporary injury replacements tho!!
-
That might upset Workington!
-
No Millseys' average is 4.87 compared to Cam's 4.42.

It would be good if you could include their averages aswell. -
You can't guarantee anything in speedway as it is a dangerous sport. Who would know if this team would win the league as injuries, loss of form all come into play. So you can't say without doubt. Every team is put together with the intention of winning the league, but only one can and luck has a big part to play in that! Now come on Dave, Aljack has already stated that Ashworth is not a genuine no. 1 even tho' he currently has an average of 9.07, and is one of only four above 9pts!!! The others being Screen, Gjedde & Barker.
-
It's just his way of having another dig at Louis who he claims doesn't put any money into the club and just pockets it all!
-
If the line up is the same as away at Plymouth on Friday it should read 1. Taylor, 2 Dak [r/r], 3 Leigh, 4 Matt, 5 Rohan, 6 Cam 7 Morten. But who knows it might be different at home.
-
And that's coming from someone who thinks Troy Batchelor is the no. 1 Aussie. Now that's a joke!

You really are losing the pot!! Sorry I meant plot!
