  1. Lee doing very well, hope he goes as good when we are in bandit country
  2. Well a few miles from the track there has been a monsoon overnight and it is still pouring down
  3. With our lot , that is a certainty, we are half a bike length behind when getting out the starts
  4. Poole will win the trophy but hopefully Tigers can at least win the meeting, even if only by 2 points and superb racing to entertain the fans
  5. Well done to Oxford , they dug deep after losing Schlein, hopefully Rory not too banged up, strength in depth works, unfortunately we need all our top 5 to be on top form to cover for our weak reserves and gating is still a major problem for Glasgow riders.
  6. Can only see an Oxford win but hope we can keep it close
  7. They also had Danny King riding for them, who knows the tricks of Poole, enjoy all the trophies, best team won, Glasgow can't gate, if you ever came up to Ashfield you would see that we cant gate there either, maybe an odd one, but on the whole we have to come from behind, which makes for exciting racing
  8. Brilliant meeting between the 2 teams, both going for it in every race, we do make life difficult when we can't gate, but makes for some exciting racing, scoreline doesn't convey how close it was at times
  9. Many of us have been following Tigers when bottom of the league, going both home and away, knowing that if we got 30 away it was deemed a success, it is the new younger fans that are looking for Trophies, which we have won only 3 league titles in 75 years and they were all before play offs came in to play.
  10. We did stream a couple of years ago but cost a fortune as they had to pay for the production, Edinburgh have in house volunteers doing it, if we could get volunteers to do it we would.
  11. Basso is phenomenal at Glasgow, not a gater but exciting when he still manages to make some majestic manoeuvres to get to the front, earning cult status at Glasgow
  12. Well done Redcar, on the gas, we cant get out of the gate
  13. Coming down for this, really hard to predict, reckon it will be close, Marcin not been there but adapted quickly at Scunthorpe so hopefully do the same at Redcar, Claus if he gates could be a bonus, should be an exciting meeting , Redcar normally produces good racing, bring it on and really hoping for a Tigers win
  14. Douglas is a class act, very fast, almost got a maximum at Glasgow but bomber put paid to that in heat 13
  15. If I were team manager , I would have told Scorps to get a 3-3 in heat 13 then give Dougy a tactical in heat 14
  16. Makes for a boring meeting, hope when we come down we will make for an exciting meeting
  17. Unfortunately can only see a hammering for Scunny
  18. Due to rider availability, we don't want to ride without Marcin, Ben, Tom or Claus as they all ride abroad
  19. Is that Poole going back to being brutal with changes to their team? Redcar must have given you a fright.
  20. Was a tad dusty, but the wind was drying the track out as fast as the water going on, racing was much better than the scoreline suggested. Ryan Douglas was very impressive and MPT started really well then faded, Simon Lambert usually does well at Glasgow but struggled last night. Tigers middle pairing are a powerhouse and only Douglas managed to stop them. I was well impressed with young Ace, there is no pressure on the lad but he shows a level head for one so young, don't think he will keep that 2 point average for long. Maybe this will be the year for the Tigers but early days, we seem to have a habit of losing someone through injury at the business end of the season, maybe this year we will have some good luck and stay injury free.
  21. Looking forward to this, should be a good match , with a tigers win
  22. Weather forecast for Sunday is horrendous, hope it changes before then
  23. Quite a few home fans come from Aberdeen, Stirling, Dunoon, Musselburgh, Greenock, hardly local for them, so early call off is helpful, although all call off's are frustrating as we all want to see some racing and fixture list is very sparse, should have been 2 home and 2 away.
