  1. Fantastic news, hopefully the other teams that are struggling will be saved too
  2. Congratulations to the rebels, they have been the team of the season and fully deserve the win and they will likely go on and win the play offs too. I don't like the play of system, if you finish top then you are the champions in my book. It's a shame we didn't put up much of a fight, we seem to have taken a massive dip these last few weeks, maybe all those knocks have taken their toll. I have supported the Tigers when we were truly mince finishing at the other end of the table and I am delighted that we are at least challenging at the top now, onward and upward as they say. Once again congratulations to the rebels
  3. Well done to the rebels , they are a formidable team, unfortunately some of our boys struggled with the track, must have been Rene's worst meeting since joining Glasgow , I honestly think that the rebels have won due to their astute choice of guests, well within the rules and we would have done the same. Congratulations... Shame Bates let himself down with his fisticuffs as he had a superb meeting until then
  4. he rode last week with flu and has been suffering all week
  5. another weegie contributed to the Monarchs...Me we need each other, even though the banter goes a bit far sometimes
  6. Sad to see the demise of any club, feel for everyone concerned
  7. Didnt think Dimitri would fancy coming back up to Glasgow
  8. Great for Richie getting the no.1 slot but will miss the Richie / Rene pairing, they were a delight to watch
  9. if Garcia was dangerous why then was he not excluded in any of the races?
  10. Totally agree, Branford should have had at least 6 rides the way he was going, team manager lost it for Rye
  11. they could have jorgensen again but cant get Bewley for play offs, I think Bewleys average is too high now to replace zach
  12. Somerset only beat us due to the very good guests they had, I doubt Allen or Zach would have scored what Bewley and Jorgensen did
  13. Fantastic result from the Tiggers, gutted that I was working and missed the trip, 4 points that I didn't expect, hopefully that seals our second place
  14. Somerset were electric out of the gate and deserved the win, over two legs ,I can't see anyone beating the rebels tbh, however I sincerely believe that the rebels would not have won today without the guests, Dan Bewley was sensational and Zach would certainly not have scored 13 points, Jake may have got about 7 or 8 . Congratulations to the rebels it was an enjoyable meeting
  15. the match was so nip and tuck , I forgot to vote for man of the match as did a few people sitting beside me and we all thought Richie Worrall should have got the trophy
  16. Was closer than the result suggested, well done to the tiggers for fighting for every point
  17. Another + 3 for Glasgow and + 4 for peterborough
  18. Fantastic result for the Tigers, hopefully same again tomorrow and hopefully Rene will be fit as he has a sprained ankle from racing in Denmark tonight
  19. not allowed to unfortunately not allowed to unfortunately
  20. guest needs same or less average away from home and same or 5% above if at home
  21. Us Glasgow fans on the bus honestly thought it would be a very close match and that the bandits would actually take the win as we tend to lose the plot away from home.. At Scunthorpe we were leading and expected to win but threw it away. However last night our boys just seemed to click and ride with more aggression, it was wonderful to watch for us Tigger fans, but awful for the bandit fans, we know how that feels as we got a right beating from the monarchs at home a couple of years ago. I was surprised at how big a crowd was there for a midweek meeting. I hope the Bandits can refocus and get the results to make the play offs as they are my second team in the premier league.
