Location has been a big issue at Glasgow for years, people don't want to travel so far North, it was only after the Facenna's took over and offered more money that riders then wanted to come. If we were to have a fixed pay rate and no extra money from sponsors etc then we would find it difficult to attract riders to the team

Young Drew rides Ashfield very well amd would be a fab 2 pointer, but would he travel up here every week, I doubt it

I hope they dont go back to Sundays at 3pm as that will be 1 less season ticket as I work 3 out of 4 Sundays and dont finish until 3, would need to be 4pm or later

Gutted that they have dropped the points limit, Cook brought a feel good factor to Glasgow when he joined and he was a delight to watch, bet the dont bring the admission price down to watch a watered down league. All that will happen is that current middle order riders will demand more as they will in effect become heatleaders.

Most impressive team has to be Workington Team rider of the season Ty Proctor One to watch Drew Kemp Best British rider Craig Cook Meeting of the season for me Ipswich v Glasgow to qualify for play offs but the Workington Glasgow semi final was a close second, we came back well to lose by just 1 point against a very dominant Comets Surprise of the season Workington Underperformers Glasgow looked such a strong team at start of the season but it didnt happen, only improved when Craig came into team Unluckiest rider Lewis Kerr , he was having his best ever season until he got injured Newcomer of the season Drew Kemp

Who is to say Cook won't be back if it is one league, he has been getting a lot of stick from Belle vue fans this year and most of them don't have him in their team plans for 2019. Craig improved greatly after joining Glasgow and is happy there. He also brought more than just his points, he galvanised and brought belief to the team. I would have him back regardless of what league we are in, although it would depend on what team average would be, it is ironic that we could keep our current team under the 42.5 rule, however that is unlikely to be the case. This year's drastic team change from 2017 was a bit too much, I do think we need to try and keep at least 3 for continuity. Goodness knows what gems the AGM will bring out, but we need more than just a tweak here and there.How many teams will survive to next season is also a major issue. It is going to be a long winter.

You should have introduced yourself, I really hope you guys win them all, I get really annoyed with all the money bags and flash the cash comments from some fans , hence my rant a few weeks back, we have been rock bottom many a time , wondering if we would run the next year and you are unfortunately in that position now. I hope something can be done to save your team, enjoy your three finals

Well done Comets , Mason Campton is your ace in the pack at reserve and you have strength in depth, you should go on and win all 3 trophies as I cant see you losing over 2 legs, frustratingly close for the Tiggers, well done to our guests Ricky Wells and Jordan Stewart. Hope the comets wont be lost to speedway next season.
