  1. Welcome to the PL . Great news that the Panthers have been saved
  2. Henning did the job he was asked last season, but because our team was weak and we only had 2 heatleaders it put pressure on Henning to be our third heatleader, he would do a good job as second string
  3. Looks a good strength in depth team, Hope young Liam has a good season
  4. Loving the look of this team so far..can't wait until season starts now
  5. Kevin Wolbert just announced as new no. 1 for Glasgow on official website
  6. Welcome to Glasgow Dimitri, Three to go, do we have Joey Ringwood at reserve along with Anders and go for 2 x 7 pointers or do we have Dimitri at reserve and go for an 8 point no. 1 and a 6 + 5+ second strings ?
  7. Dimitri Berge has signed for Glasgow, on official site
  8. Josh G signed for Worky along with Ricky Wells, strong top five for them
  9. Ooft that is a strong top five...good luck to Josh and Mason , hope they both do well and stay injury free
  10. Welcome to Glasgow Rusty... Now can we have Theo Pijper please
  11. Hope Joe gets fixed up, he did all that he was asked at Glasgow, would have liked to give him another year
  12. Not heard anything yet. Would like him back at reserve along with Anders
  13. Justin Sedgemen put on facebook that he is looking for a team spot in UK ... What would his average be ? and do you reckon he is worth a punt ?
  14. announced at James Grieves night .Anders Thomsen signed for Glasgow
  15. Stewart Dickson confirmed as team manager and he has input into signings
  16. Fab news that we are running , now for the business of raising funds for air fence.... great to be able to start speculating on team :- My wish list would include Theo Pijper, Sam Masters, Anders Thomson, Magnus Karlsson, Joey Ringwood or Joe Jacobs, Matty Wethers and a n other
  17. how about Karlsson Doolan or Pijper (wishful thinking) Bellego ( wishful thinking) or North Bager Thomsen Ringwood Jacobs
  18. Taylor has quit speedway according to his twitter...broken femur
  19. Barrett rides our track better than he does at Berwick ...should have joined us at start of the season
  20. . Henning has done a good second string job and he has been better away from home, The problem is people were expecting him to do a heat leader job when James wright quit, and that was unfair..Henning has done the job he was brought in to do..We have been riding with one and a half heat leaders and 4 reserves all season, and I agree that is is a wonder that we haven't been fined for an understrength team... Hopefully next year we can at least be solid at home... On another note no Cookie today so it is R/R for him and Stormy is guest for Max
  21. Well it is a beautiful morning over here in the west , here's hoping it stays sunny for this afternoons match . Would be grand if there was a good crowd and great racing , with a Tigers win or a draw . It has been a very difficult season for the Tigs both on and off the track, hopefully we can put this year behind us and have a good one next year
  22. should be a closer match than previous ones... nice to see Josh and David back in the stripes , even if it is for one match only
  23. Was a close meeting and a draw was a fair result, pretty much all gate and go and we are pretty bad at gating!! However Joey Ringwood's first 4 races were astonishing ...couldn't believe what i was seeing, a bit much to ask him to keep it going , but well done to him for being top scorer. Dakota North also improved , he never gives up but couldn't seem to pass despite trying...maybe he was scared to in case he got excluded lol... James and Henning pairing didn't quite work, seemed to get in each others way, it was Henning's lowest score at home for a while. Theo... was delighted to see him in his Glasgow kevlars and although didn't get a win, he was solid enough and out every race clapping the boys back in... a fabulous team man...wish he was back at Glasgow .. As for Sheffield , Richie Lawson excellent at our track ( should take up his inheritance and ride for us ! Ricky Wells was also excellent , however he is very good at moving on the starts, Facundo Albin got better as the meeting progressed, but r/r got 8 paid 9 points and no way the german would have scored that !! I guess the Tigers will be riding to keep their place for next season ?
  24. Going to be another tough meeting...Sheffield much stronger with guests...Richie Lawson and Aaron Summers as guests both ride Ashfield well and Ricky Wells and Andre Compton can also do us some damage... For the REAL Tigers , Theo Pijper should be okay, Hopefully James will repeat last weeks performance and Dakota wont get excluded!! We need Anders Thomsen to perform like he did at his first Ashfield meeting, all in all it is a hard one to predict, but I live in hope that Glasgow can finally get a win ......Pleeeeeeeeease !!!!!
