We are abysmal.... roll on 2014 !!!

We should get a guest for Joe as he is our no. 1

Screeny's season has finished, Team manager has quit, so a new / stand in manager for Sunday, and a guest for Screeny, who knows what the result will be...It has been a very strange and frustrating season ...Just hope we can build on it and have a good one next year ( if we still run )

That would leave Screeny and Anders as a pairing ...don't think that would work as they ride the same line ( providing Anders bike doesn't fail) Henniing has picked up well in latter part of season and he is better away than at home

Think they should put him at 3 or 4, he hasn't got to grips with Glasgow track though... He also likes the same line as Screeny which can be problematic

MD Dakota made the pass on Kyle hard but fair ... He didn't touch him and in a further heat Doyle locked up and Joey got excluded when he had nowhere to go

Looking forward to my trip down to Owlerton today ..Will be interesting to see how Anders goes round the fast track and Dakota North...A tigers win for sure....but which one will come out on top? Hopefully a good close meeting as both our teams are having a mare of a season

Ooft another defeat but a consolation on the performance of Anders Thomsen. Josh was outstanding and fully deserved his maximum ( which I predicted he would get) ,good choice of guest for the Rockets, good back up from Bunyan, must be his best Glasgow score! Aspgren is way to good to be at reserve and was a match winner ..Our reserves are struggling big time as did our skipper today, Unusual to see Joe not scoring well at home.. James Grieves, Anders Thomson and Henning Bager, (even though he only scored 5) deserve praise for effort and Dakota North did well considering it was his first time on the new track, good to see him out practicing at the end of the meeting. Can only see a humping next week against Edinburgh and an even bigger one the following week when Somerset come to town... We live in hope that we will see a home win before the end of season!!

Hopefully this will kickstart our season, and we will finally get a win ...

just on Glasgow facebook page that Compton signed until end of season ( not from official sources) surely an extension does not need to be ratified by BSPA? confusing Emails ... grrr

looks like Dakota North...if you go by twitter feed...That should strenghten us a bit

Hope we put up a fight...will be interesting to see if we have signed anyone and who has lost their place

I very much doubt that you will be trounced at Glasgow , more likely that we will be trounced by the Witches , although we live in hope that we can get our first win in a long time

another tonking on the road methinks. hopefully we will get 30 and our new boys will get more race fit

It gets very wearying after a while Gazc, I love a bit of banter but some of it is downright cruel, think we have enough to put up with lol

Glasgow are having a difficult season, anyone can see that, but they are trying there best...okay so far they haven't won much at all , but the effort is there, and some of the boys have spent a fortune trying to fix problems....that with our new boys not having raced for sometime it was always going to be difficult against Berwick....Most of the Glasgow fans appreciate what the new promotion are trying to achieve and we live in hope that things will improve for us....The promotion have run up a huge phone bill trying to get top riders to come to Glasgow ,but the minute they hear it is a Sunday race day then it is no thanks Poland comes first!! But the team we have , I will support through good times and bad....BUT what gets on my nerves is the CONSTANT jibes from SMUGVILLE aka Monarch supporters about how bad we are and how wonderful it is that we are getting beat....Yes Monarchs have a great team and will be right up there at the end of the season and I have congratulated them on their efforts many times this season, as I genuinely love good speedway , and give credit where credit is due. When Glasgow won the league in 2011 , I did not see Glasgow fans berating the monarchs to the extent that we are experiencing this season...So come on Edinburgh fans give us a break...rant over

Lawson guesting for Kennett,, good choice of guest as he is unbeatable at Ashfield, losing Barrett helps us as he is good for 7 rides and loads of points, will depend who they get to guest for him, probably be r/r for Kozza if he is not fit, should be very interesting indeed

Should be a cracker indeed, with hopefully the Tigers getting the win. Thankfully Henning seems to have got over his recent slump and is getting some points, Joe Screen has been holding the team together and will do the Biz, just needs to get his first heat sorted...James G has had a difficult few weeks and it is very unusual for him not to be winning heats, so fingers crossed he has put that behind him and is back on winning ways.. Joe Jacobs and Joey Ringwood ...cant fault them for effort, sometimes gets into difficulty as trying to hard and the newboys ...looking forward to seeing how they go....let's face it ..things can only get better !!

Will be missed, he has had a great career, hopefully will still give help to the youngsters.. It has been a pleasure having him as captain these last few years, so along with James Grieves Glasgow will miss the pair of them , they have been a great servant to speedway

Well Andre looked as if he was up for it today...think he will be a good signing, a definite improvement on James Wright and with Harley going home as well, it will put Joey down to reserve when he is fit, can't wait to see who the scandinavian is ?

Cookie is awesome .....and well done to Max Fricke too...knew he had class ...wanted him in my team at start of season but fair plat to the Monarch they did very well with a battered team...going to take some beating when they are all fully fit
