  1. From Scunthorpe Telegraph: 'Earlier this week, Auty said: If it is broken it is probably season over for me.'
  2. Yes and he has a trapped tendon in his knee.
  3. Has anything been said since he went to A & E on Thursday?
  4. Yeah, but I don't think anybody any notice of CL averages back then the BSPA have just done the easiest thing and given him a 3.00. Having said that, wasn't Shane Waldron in a similar situation in 2013 and he got assessed at 5.00 for KL.
  5. He hasn't ridden since it changed from gradings to averages.
  6. Erm one of those clubs has 2 of the best riders in the NL in it's team!
  7. They need 18 more points to finish above Cradley and 17 more to finish above Eastbourne. But that's assuming their opponents pick up all their available points, which they won't, so less in reality but the Cradley vs Birmingham fixture will probably be too soon.
  8. That's embarrassing! Also shows why many of us were saying there was no point giving him a run at reserve.
  9. Let me get this right: Brennan on a 250 beat Strudwick on a 500?
  10. Why has next week been postponed?
  11. He may talk about wanting to improve NZ speedway but he also said that he wants to ride for Team GB but the BSPA decided that he's ineligible.
  12. Ok thanks, I don't buy the speedway star. That's even more ridiculous then. The rules clearly state that NL riders move up onto a 3.00.
  13. Riders who are eligible for the league through patriality enter on a 5.00 but Eastbourne made the mistake that thinking patriality riders were a 3.00 the same as standard Brits.
  14. Yes '@BuxtonHitmen: That's right there's a Blue sky up here so no excuses get Up to High Edge to support the Hitmen Today https://t.co/y7zTVm5n7L'
  15. That's why him being given a 5.00 PL average doesn't make any sense because he doesn't need a visa! If he needed a visa he wouldn't be allowed to ride NL.
  16. Learning different tracks, learning about set-ups (I'm sure he'd rather find a problem in an NL meeting than EL), learning how to cope with the pressure of being the top man, earning money, keeping match fit and boosting his confidence and that's just off the top of my head.
  17. I think you're missing the point Alex. That may be true but no PL team offered him a team place so what was he supposed to do? He was offered an NL spot by Birmingham and he took it. As has been said by others, at his age and stage of development he needs as many meetings as possible.
  18. Both Branford and Chessell return from injury tomorrow.
  19. He'd only ridden 1 full year of NL and 2 full years of speedway before this season so of course we should allow him if he's eligible! And the PL didn't want him stupidly, so you couldn't expect him to just ride EL at this point in his career. The only draft rider to try that, in 2 seasons, is Garrity who is much further on in his development (he's just ridden in a GP!) and even he originally had a PL spot at the start of the season and has picked up a spot again now.
  20. Bates was signed to ride tomorrow. Sheffield have rearranged their meeting in the mean time and it clashes and Sheffield get priority.
  21. I think its a good move. He's a fast starter and will do well on the equipment Connor's helped with and he never gives up and a genuine guy to talk to so should fit in well too.
