Spot on! It's 2 of your top 3 averages on August 20th (which is also when the draw was done). Also as Ben isn't the best round KL and Owen rode for them last year it has to be Owen imo.
Exactly and other clubs would do well to take note. It's why I always enjoy my trips to the EWR.
Might we see a late season drop in Tommy the Gun's form, then the 7 I was thinking will fit
Jack P. is 14 and riding a 500cc in the MDL! There needs to be an age limit somewhere and if we think about it 15 year olds are still kids, let alone 14 year olds. So if the BSPA don't hinder those that can genuinely handle a 500 like Jack P. by actually assessing individual cases on their merits then I think it shouldn't be lowered further.
The only way the rules could be changed (though I don't want them to be) for the likes of Spiller to come in on an average higher than a 3.00 in the future would be to say you have a higher assessed average if you'd ridden in a league abroad. But that doesn't make you a world beater, Sam Woods has ridden in the Danish second tier after all. Eastbourne have done nothing wrong other and are pleasing their fans which is something not enough clubs do imo.
Missing reserves can only be covered for by unattached riders that aren't in a 1-7. Which is why Powell, Hunter & Phillips could guest for Banks but Spiller won't be able to.
The green sheet averages section on the BSPA site show Kelsey as back in the 1-7 and Cottham dropping out of it. Previously Kelsey, and his average, was in the OG bit as he had gone out of the 1-7 to accommodate Cottham.
As for Wood, he was at the hospital today and he needs an MRI scan on his knee.
Phillips, Chessell, Knuckey or Chapman for Andrews and use R/R for Wood which lets Owen take a ride. Or Priest for Wood and Andews R/R. They're the best looking options imo.
