  1. Even at the start of the season (when riders can't be split by the criteria Alan points out) you can't move riders up and down from reserve meeting by meeting as you would have to declare the order you want them in and they stay like that until the averages change ie Birmingham declared Banks 5th in the averages at the start of the season so he had to stay in the top 5 until Wajtknecht and/or Wilson's average went above him.
  2. As this meeting is knock-out cup, its 2 legs and overall winner goes through to the next round. It was a different competition (National Trophy) on the other thread!
  3. I've just realised the cut-off is the 20th now (23rd last season) and the Mildenhall meeting was the 21st!
  4. Confirmed on twitter that Rye have Morley.
  5. Not using the averages on the Heathens' own website. His good performance at Mildenhall will keep in the top 5 (he was sixth before that). Their own site says Clegg 9.53, Williamson 8.27, Greaves 7.08, Perks 5.67, Neale 5.08, Mogridge 5.00, Harris 3.00 (2.92).
  6. Aggregate bonus point doesn't exist anymore. Is a National Trophy meeting and normal league scoring applies: 3 for home win, 1 for home draw, 2 for away draw, 1 for away loss by 6 or less, 3 for away win 1-6 & 4 for away win 7+.
  7. Why is Parker missing? Phillips is dreadful, he won't beat a rider.
  8. Don't feel that you can't pitstop. I'm sure others will agree when I say your opinion on the NL is valued.
  9. Jack Smith has ridden an MDL meeting since his trip to Cradley but withdrew from his last ride because of a bang on the wrist and a bent bike. He came second in his first, then fell in his next.
  10. You have to declare a number 8 as part of your team but he doesn't have to turn up for meetings. Its purely down to the management who is declared as a number 8 for a meeting. Or you can use another teams, like Cradley used King's Lynn's number 8 today! Also if a number 8 is declared in a meeting he can only take R/R rides.
  11. It means he can't guest in the PL as an 'NL only' guest, ie when a PL team has no facility. The ruling doesn't affect the NL at all so just ignore it.
  12. He says his season is over too unfortunately.
  13. I was there and the track wasn't great at all but the meeting overall wasn't as bad as some are making out. Bend 4 was the worst, followed by bend 1 but bend 1 improved considerably after a mid-meeting grade, light watering and a shower. I got the opinion that they didn't want to water it until the shower forecast at 5 and fortunately it came a little earlier at about 4:15. That settled down bend 1. The issue was bend 4 which they never sorted and worryingly didn't try to sort. As the track was generally patchy it was catching even experienced riders out and there was a lot of falls and most were entering bend 4 and bend 1, but as I say bend 1 settled down. Of the 3 injuries only BWD's on bend 4 were due to the track. Shanes' & Cockle's were purely racing incidents as was Kingston's frightening back straight crash that broke the fence. The meeting obviously took a long time, too long! But there was never any unnecessary delays and they tried to keep the meeting moving along. The only significant delay was the hurt supporter for 30/40 mins and when we had to wait 10 mins or so for Ayres bike stuck in bend 4.
  14. The rules for the Pairs say you can pick which 2 from your highest averaged 3 riders.
  15. They entered but didn't qualify! But then qualification method wasn't announced until the time they were told they weren't making it.
  16. When Milik came in for his joker and scored 4 he was replacing Suchanek but the BSPA site gave the 4 points to Suchanek initially!
  17. No it's still x2. Look at Ellis' average this year.
  18. Bowen's average converts to 8.00 and he's already said that he's been approached by 1 NL team and turned it down.
  19. I think Birmingham and Coventry from group A with B being tight behind Kent with Cradley nicking it. A close final with Birmingham winning from Kent.
  20. '19.6.2 Teams must include 4 of their top 5 (by MA) Riders. No Reserve riders.' So it can't be Wood. I assume Mason will be in over Bates.
  21. Actually he's right! Using official averages, Ayres hasn't ridden enough to get a new average yet so is still on his starting average of 4.47. £15
  22. Yes it's a joke. The Fours and Pairs are national events yet a random PL meeting takes priority, so no Clegg or Branford. Yet the NLRC does take priority, so it can be done!
