  1. Very good signing. He's clearly genuinely talented and looks very smooth.
  2. No. Current averages still apply for Wednesday then the '4 meetings' averages apply and they change again 1st June but Eastbourne won't have ridden any meetings that apply before the cut off date of 20th May.
  3. As Alan says you're correct. When they change Andrews goes third in the averages and rides can be taken by Mason, Owen, Bates and the 2 reserves.
  4. It should be a good meeting between 2 teams I expect to be towards the top of the table come September. Andrews will be missing for the Eagles.
  5. What Ellis has put on facebook in response to the Scunthorpe meeting report from last night that classes him as injured: ' Ellis Perks Well i can ride again but you wnt let me in the team'
  6. That's what I was asking. Why do the 2 teams seems to have different ideas on the same injury?
  7. Do you think having the first official fixture in mid-May may affect attendance levels as fans are used to just watching the Bees this season and seeing a winning team and expect to go far so would rather save their cash for cups and play-offs etc?
  8. I asked this earlier and look at the reply I got^^. Fair enough when he rode on Wednesday he's clearly still injured but how come Scunthoroe were bringing in a guest before he rode on Wednesday for Friday, yet Cradley let him ride on Wednesday??
  9. I posted before he rode tonight. If the Scunthorpe management knew he's still feeling the effects of it I find it strange that the Cradley management would let him ride even if Ellis himself wants to get back on a bike.
  10. On the Rockets page it has slightly altered as the Raiders now host Mildenhall on 9th August rather than a double header on 31st May but the May bank holiday double header and a couple of others are still there.
  11. People would have said the same about Richard Andrews this winter, and he hasnt ended up in intensive care! But look how he's shone this season.
  12. Good luck to Callum Walker! I still don't know why Farnaby was signed though.
  13. My turn but of course this doesn't really take into account fallers or bike problems Interesting to see our final scores so close Steven but differing rider scores! Eagles 58 Mason 3, 2*, 3, 0 = 8+1 Andrews 1, 3, 3, 1 = 8 Bates 0, 1*, 2, 3 = 6+1 Owen 3, 2, 1*, 3, 1 = 10+1 BWD 3, 3, 3, 3, 3 = 15 Wood 3, 0, 1, 2* = 6+1 Dugard 2*, 2*, FX, 1 = 5+1 Raiders 35 Branford 2, 6^, 2, 2, 2 = 14 Woods 0, 0, 2, 0 = 2 BDJ 1*, 2, 0, 2 = 5+1 Chessell 2, 1*, 2, F = 5+1 Hughes 1, 1, 3, 1*, 0 = 6+1 Hume 1, 0, 0, 1 = 2 Bowtell 0, 0, 1*, 0 = 1+1
  14. Perks is back riding for Cradley next Wednesday. Can this thread go back on topic now??
  15. Knuckey rides, Greenwood R/R & Chessell for Crang.
  16. Davies and Lunna have ridden the exact same meetings so how can they have averages come out at different times? As Davies' won't include Edinburgh away but Lunna does.
  17. Wilson-Dean has been told by the BSPA that he will come in to the PL on a 5.00 average and Connor Dugard confirmed this.
  18. If, and it's a big if, Perks went home without riding another meeting Cradley would only have 3.00 points to replace him with and Perks would still be a 3.00 if he returned this year or another year, as he has not done enough (4 league) for a new average. If he was to quit Scunthorpe, he could still ride for Cradley. Similarly if he's sacked he still could. There's no rule stopping him doing NL only either. Sings4kings you mention a 28 day ban but that would be for withholding his services, like refusing to ride a meeting as he's elsewhere, as opposed to quitting the club altogether. At the end of the day, that'd be Perks' own choice. It seems strange that he'll even be at Buxton on Sunday but there isn't enough time for him to ride in that meeting and then get to Newcastle, so I suspect he'll be using the track to check his fitness before the meeting?? Also I think his dad is over here with him, but I'm not sure.
  19. It does mean he won't get a new average until at least June though!
  20. Matt's riding for you regardless but Harris is too now.
  21. Team news is Greaves R/R, Govier for Perks and still waiting on news on Harris. Buxton have Holt and Basford replacing Bowen and Hoskins at reserve.
  22. I think Carr's 18. Definitely a very good prospect and in his first season he joined Stoke in about August and averaged 3.61. In his second season he thought he was joining Stoke again but that fell through and meant he started the season without a team and joined Buxton in about May and averaged 6.76. Last year was his first from the start and averaged 8.00 for Buxton whilst riding for Berwick in the Premier League too! But he had a very serious crash at Sheffield in about August that was expected to keep him out for at least a year so he's progressed well. He's based near Berwick, I think it's Tweedmouth.
  23. Haha Mason has scored well so far but he was always likely to be good on a unique track like Eastbourne, it would be his away scores that wouldn't be like a number 1! The problem is if this is a recurring illness or serious illness then it's not good for the team to keep going with R/R (especially once BWD goes to number 1) and he could always be in the pits even if he's not up to riding.
