"Muck about on the grasstracks" ? Have you ever been to a Grasstrack meeting ? I can assure you they do not "Muck about" and I always thought it was a good practise for a future Speedway rider.
-
Great to see that the Kings have a Sponsorship with a very worthwhile and important company. Founded by a Ex Speedway rider I believe. And an apt name for a sponsor of a Speedway Club ?
-
Cannot understand why the NT is not settled and done in the middle of season when hopefully better weather is here.
-
Be better if they could move the Rye House National Trophy fixture to that date. As I think getting the NT fixtures finalised ASAP would be best for the competition.

National League New Sponsor
blueherb777 replied to blueherb777's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Maybe the Elite/Premier should be grateful for any sort of sponsorship. National League Clubs will be grateful for any extra funds, however great or small. p.s. Millions ??? This is Speedway we are talking about, not Football,Rugby or Cricket. -
City Gearboxes are the new Sponsor of the National League. It beggers the question why has the Elite League and Premier League NOT got a sponsor ? As the Elite and Premier are on Sky you would of thought a sponsor could be found.
-
No problem and as the fixtures are so close together it does seem like a two legged affair.
-
Two legs ? They are just separate meetings for points in the National Trophy.

Where Are The National League Fixtures?
blueherb777 replied to OldHawk's topic in National League Speedway
The fixture page on the Kent Kings site is down at the moment. Could we see something very soon ? -
I think we could see a bumper crowd for the Bank Holiday opener against the Eagles in the National Trophy.
-
I do not understand 2 things, 1) How come that article about the NZL lad is dated 10 December 2014 and nothing has been said ? 2) I thought it was the `National Development League and not the `International Development League ?

It would be better if we had LESS of Mr MORrish ? -
Do not agree about that with Speedway in third tier. Bad tools means break downs and no points, where as good tools means races finished and points,
-
Rikki Mullins it is then. Bike supplied by Rob Couzins - is that Jamies Dad ? So if so could it also be Couzins ?
-
Not easy finding 3 pointers that are going to strengthen team and are going to improve over the season.

Great to see Sons etc of Ex-riders carry on the family tradition. Looking forward to the NL next year as could be the most interesting of all the Leagues. -

Perry/Ellis will no doubt be the top pair in the NL. Brum look to be the ones to beat - at the moment. -
For what he achieved in the sport, shame on the BBC for not giving Simmo a mention.
-
Agree and getting the RIGHT 3 pointers in is the key.

Says on the Kent Kings site that Simon Lambert cannot ride NL in 2015. Something about age ? -
Says on Website the Kings were hoping for 38 points limit. The way the team was being built no great surprise. 38 points would have left - 5.75 and two 3 pointers.
-
No I would not be keen on Kirby returning. But I can see Verge-Perks comes from Gravesend (I think)so would make sense and Harris was unlucky to lose place and all 3 would fit.
-
With 9.75 points left for 3 riders - Could Kent Kings be looking at; Adam Kirby.(back) Danno Verge. Luke Harris.(back) Ellis Perks. Any more likely ?
