So it says the rules are 6 & 7 must start season on a 3 average. How petty is the NL to insist a rider who has not raced for 10 years must start on 3.50 ? Trouble is now Kent must find another 3 pointer to go with Jack and this could be a big problem. But it does leave it open for Morley to return. And leaves 1 more place - Mark Baseby or Kingston ?
-
Couzins - No. Danno - No. Kent have to be looking for better, as this League will be much more competitive in 2016.
-
I think it just fits into the 40 point limit.
-
Could we see Bowen,Mark Baseby and T Bacon as Kings next year? Bacon rode well at Kent and Baseby won meeting near season end.
-
Why oh why ? NL got it so right by getting rid of the play-offs - But bring it back. Now they get rid of the T/R (great move) will they bring it back 2017 ? Just to say that great to see 12 teams in the League. Welcome back Warriors. And NL get chance to ride/visit Belle Vue New Stadium - result.

Brendan Johnson joins Warriors. -
Agree with all you say. The riding factor behind the play-offs in the Elite League is TV. They want to be there when the League is won. There is no doubt the play-off Final attracts big crowds but that is because the rest of the season crowds are poor. NL have got it right as far as I am concerned. Could they now vote to get RID of the stupid Double points crap and bring back T/S.

Quite right. How after a full season a team that finishes (say 4th) can be worthy Champions is beyond me ? Gold Cup was a good idea and all Clubs were trying to get in it. I would like to see this trophy sponsored to give it more clout etc.

Turned on recently. Got to say very decent racing. -
Yes,finished bottom of the National Trophy Table ? And no I will not change the record. If you do not agree fine - Am I bovvered !

What do you expect if you have an old dinosaur like Mr Silver there? Things will not progress at the Club until he goes. Club finished BOTTOM of the League this year. I do not go anymore and will not return until he goes.

Reading the comments from supporters in the SS over the last few weeks, these are the most popular views; 1) Elite League on a particular day/days 2) A squad system to lessen need for Guests/R/R. 3) Get rid of DOUBLE POINTS c**p and bring back T/S so the Manager does something not just fill in programme. 4) Make sure tracks are prepared properly which in turn will mean good racing and safer. 5) Keep meetings going faster and stop all the delays like riders going back to the pits etc. 6) Promoters to do some promoting to try to get more fans in. Listen to supporters views more and the sport may make progress.

Agree 100%. The things that have happened at Kent has held the Club back. Surely he can see that time has come to bow out and let the Club join the modern era. If he has a say in team selection for the Elite League then it will be a struggle. Kent are going to finish bottom of the National League and Rye House are hardly big hitters in the Premier League.

I am all in favour of Kent going to the Elite League. I just wish the Mr Silver was NOT involved in the process for lots of reasons.

Poole Vs The Aces For The Title
blueherb777 replied to Crazy robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
You have really made yourself look an idiot with that post. Well done Poole. And well done Aces for pushing them close. -
I would settle for 4 riders racing their bikes. And not watching riders just trying to stay on the bike for 4 laps ??
-
Well said and spot on as far as I am concerned. I do not go to Kent anymore as fed up watching riders who struggle to do 4 laps. Riders that make no progress and continue/come back into the team. It makes it so predictable that they will score hardly a point or two. Ayres is an example of how riders can improve. As you say I hope for Premier Speedway but I have a feeling it will be National League again. To me the Club has stood still/gone backwards ( as could well finish bottom this year). What is the situation with the Friday night extended curfew ?

Baseby out because of work commitments .................................... again ? Blimey you see more of Lord Lucan than you do of him !

Kent Vs Eastbourne Monday 17th August 6:30pm
blueherb777 replied to Alex2000's topic in National League Speedway
Agree with above. What it does show is that Eastbourne will cover every avenue to be successful. And make`s Mr Hunt at Kent look stupid when he kept saying they were looking at all avenues for a reserve ????? So beggars the question how Eagles find them and Kent do not ? To me just shows the lack of ambition at Central Park and who have stood still since opening. -

Yes but how Eastbourne can bring him in on a 3 point average is a joke ? Thought this sort of thing just happens in the Elite League ? -
