I know Ben`s average is not was high as Boxall`s (Ben 9+ - Boxall 11+). What I mean is that Ben will have the pressure to get big scores all the meetings. Last season he had Lambert/Compton/Mason as back-up heat leaders. Just saying that as his average is high the main body will include Ayres and a 3 pointer. I am sure Baseby/Shanes will be OK - just going to be hard on the others.

Well done National League for getting rid of play-offs. Team that finishes top will be Champions. Top 4 will enter the new Gold Cup. So points set at 36 and minimum is 30. Do people think the Kent have shot themselves in the foot slightly ? Ben Morley will be out and out No 1 - so pressure will be on him. Yes it seems certain Eagles,Brum & Raiders will come in for Devon & Scunny. Be interesting if more teams in Trophy ? Agree lets see KOC have a summer Final and not dragged out to season end. I would like 42 top limit points and 38 low. Think play-offs will happen - just the way Speedway has gone ( not a fan myself). I would like a National League fixture shown on Sky - just my opinion. Did not say any rules are being broken - But this is Speedway just because no rules are being broken does not mean it is right. Having interest in TWO teams in the same League is just WRONG IMHO. I would have thought that Mr Silver and Mr Sampford having 2 teams to get involved in would be enough. You are right that I would like to see a Young/motivated Team Manager at Kent - somebody like Paul Hurry - been saying it for a while now.

This is EXACTLY my point. When it is Kings V Raiders you will have - Rye House Manager in charge of Kings v Rye House. A co-promoter of Kings v A team that co-promoter has interest in,Managed by his Son ??? As far as I am concerned too many clashes of interest which is easily avoided and would stop any potential skulduggery.

Agree makes sense respect of Rye House/Raiders. I AM THINKING OF THE KENT KINGS SITUATION.

Surely if Raiders return Kent will be looking for a new team Manager ? All seems to be in limbo and I can see Kings missing out on certain riders.

If Raiders return then surely no Sampford or Silver at the Kings. Rye House have already picked their Premier team so that is where Silver is only interested in. Kings need a young keen team Manager and start signing riders now otherwise will miss out on the best ?? Does not help the the NL AGM is not until next month as it leaves teams in limbo.

How many teams in National League now ? Birmingham. Cradley, Eastbourne ? Lakeside ? Rye House ? Kings Lynn ? Coventry ? Kent. Stoke. Mildenhall. Buxton. Any more ?
