  1. Surely it is 400 odd miles if he's planning to come home again?
  2. Bryn would take his own stash of Bundy and hide it in his wardrobe!
  3. It's the bar prices that concerned me!! Total rip off. Always bring my own supplies every year.
  4. And I have to say it was the best yet that I've had the pleasure of attending. Well done to Vic and his committee who worked so hard organising and planning everything. Looking forward to next year's already.
  5. Would be brilliant, I know who my money would be on!
  6. Far more than GB have coming through that's for sure. Will take great pleasure in watching them display their skills throughout the coming season.
  7. Good luck Kozza. Would be nice to see someone else win something in Oz this winter.
  8. This was last weeks SS Howard, obviously went to print before Richard's fall.
  9. According to the Speedway Star the line up is as follows ... Jake Anderson Troy Batchelor Ashley Cathcart Sam Dore Josh Grajczonek Tom Hedley Chris Holder Robert Ksiezak Samuel Masters Dakota North Tyron Proctor Ryan Sedgmen Hugh Skidmore Kozza Smith Aaron Summers Richard Sweetman Reserves ... 10. As long as he didn't 'punt' himself in the process... well done Kozza, so looking forward to having him in our team.
  11. Not a tad of bitterness of still lingering there then Crouch? King's Lynn asset Troy Batchelor came second overall, do you think he would have done with the likes of Adams, Crump etc taking part?
  12. Don't know about you but I'm getting a bit fed up of Boney M right now!!!
  13. Great line up and I'm sure it'll be a corker of a meeting. Any of you Aussie guys know what's happening with Mark Jones at the moment, is he actually riding speedway anymore? His name doesn't seem to be about much nowadays.
  14. Ah but Trees has a major dislike for him you see Schumi, and a major like for Adams. Tis a bitter pill.
  15. Congratulations Nicki, awesome all through the series. Truly the Main Dane.
  16. As soon as I saw the name on the thread title it rang a bell. John was a keen clay pigeon shooter also, and it was through that sport my Dad came to know him well. I can remember him telling me he used to ride speedway for Norwich and I can also remember the tragic accident that sadly took John's life.
  17. Yeah Adams was on fire, and full credit to the bloke. Pity he didn't pull his finger out sooner then he might not have to worry so much about Nicki Pedersen leading the standings.
  18. Why?? Why again? Surely anyone can do no worse than the person in charge now!
  19. I remember one meeting back in the 70's at King's Lynn, some geezer gave Bob some lip from the crowd whilst Bob was on the parade truck. Bob jumped off the truck, and over fence and into the crowd and punched the bloke smack in the chops!!! He also opened my village fete one year. What a true Star he was.
  20. Just remember that a fair few on here also get pissed off with hearing how wonderful Middlo is day in day out. It works both ways.
