Certainly a lot closer racing this week. Personally I think it's better with less dirt as long as it's evenly spread across the track and not left to build up on the outside. Watching from the back straight there did seem to be a bit of a bump going into the 1st bend.

It will be interesting to see how KP goes. He had a decent meeting for Leicester there last season with 9 from 5 after taking a couple of heats to suss it out.

Great crowd some excellent racing and 4 points for the lions happy days. I agree Perks was lucky to get back in heat one too.

That's good to hear. He was being chased very hard by Richie Worrall and tried to cover his run round the outside of bends 1 & 2, unfortunately he got the exit all wrong and bailed off just in time at high speed into the fence at the start of the back straight.

Yes and some of us on the back straight opposite the tapes had filled our programmes in as it was an easy half a wheel in it. We also knew it was Holder in heat 15 too lol
