Leicester V Swindon Mon 29th June Sky Match
Elmo replied to robert72's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No sun break as there was enough cloud cover. Also there was a dog on the back straight 😀 -
Another 10 heater in store? If it gets that far

He did have a really good tussle with Watt in one race, but couldn't get out of the start all night and just lost more ground coming out of the second bend.Charles Wright looked super quick. The Poole track looked miles better than I have seen on my previous visits too.

Didn't seem a great deal of sincerity in that apology

Aren't the tapes along the white line?If you want to stop someone rolling backwards to get a flyer, you would need something behind the bikes.

Leicester V Kent Kings - National Trophy - 6/4/14
Elmo replied to blueherb777's topic in National League Speedway
The team was built to the same points limit as all the national league teams and from what said on Sunday, they were asked to fill in when Buxton withdrew from the competition. I liked the team when it was named and have seen many ride there very well in the MDL. It will be interesting to see whether it develops into a fully fledged NL team next year, if you have the facility available you may as well try and use it to its maximum potential. -
I would be happy to a tenner to watch that team next Sunday.

Message To The Leicester Promotor
Elmo replied to robert72's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Maybe best not taking any risks as Sunday is way more important than a Saturday friendly in the grand scheme of things. -
Quite impressed with Liam Carr, he did ride very well and was a bit unlucky with the exclusion. Good to see another young Brit with potential.

Lewis only beat the same 3 riders all night, Sarjeant (which he would expect to) Klindt (his own team mate) & Ellis. -

Must have been the turbulence then as Maggie was on the home straight by the time Auty binned it. -

Have to agree about Sarjeant, was a lot closer than Branford, just wish he had tried the outside on the last bend against Lewis, if he carries on with the same effort hopefully the points will come. It was also pleasing to see an outside pass by Nemo. -
