King's Lynn V Leicester (29.07.15)
Elmo replied to em1500uk's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Not there, so can't comment on the conditions. Bear in mind Leicester are already 3 riders down through no fault of their own (masters avoiding roynon, auty taken out by tungate & lambert by Dan Greenwood) & to that Walasek just returning from his 3rd injury of the season. What team would we have out on Saturday if there had been another needless injury tonight? A couple of guests is bad enough, but 4 would be ridiculous. -
Poole Pirates Vs Swindon Robins 29/7/15

Charles Wright scored 11 from 5 when guesting for Leicester earlier this year and looked super quick, so expect him to give Newman a decent battle. Overall think this will be close either way. -

Many thanks. Watching on the iPad in a hotel bar in Majorca -
Leicester are also missing a rider who rides very well at home in Wozniak. I agree though that this is one of Wright's better tracks. You mean Walasek?

Maybe not lol

No sun break as there was enough cloud cover. Also there was a dog on the back straight 😀 -
Another 10 heater in store? If it gets that far

He did have a really good tussle with Watt in one race, but couldn't get out of the start all night and just lost more ground coming out of the second bend.Charles Wright looked super quick. The Poole track looked miles better than I have seen on my previous visits too.

Aren't the tapes along the white line?If you want to stop someone rolling backwards to get a flyer, you would need something behind the bikes.

Leicester V Kent Kings - National Trophy - 6/4/14
Elmo replied to blueherb777's topic in National League Speedway
The team was built to the same points limit as all the national league teams and from what said on Sunday, they were asked to fill in when Buxton withdrew from the competition. I liked the team when it was named and have seen many ride there very well in the MDL. It will be interesting to see whether it develops into a fully fledged NL team next year, if you have the facility available you may as well try and use it to its maximum potential. -
I would be happy to a tenner to watch that team next Sunday.
