I agree belle vue is a better shape, but it is not the only determining factor in whether a meeting is a good one or a bad one. In general the meetings at Leicester have been better than previous years following the changes to the 3/4th bend.

The 2 Poole meetings have been the dullest this year no doubt about it, but there have been far more good meetings this year than normal. Bizarrely the worst & best meeting I have watched this year were the SWC race off & final which were a day apart at the same track, so it's not all just done to the shape.

As excellent as the Kings Lynn meeting was, this was a complete contrast not one notable pass all night.

Quite possibly the best ever EL meeting at Beaumont Park I have seen. Pity we just couldn't hold on but a quality nights entertainment none the less.
